OSG UEFA: Real Smokes Bayern

((HT: UEFA/Fox Soccer))

Sergio Ramos scored twice in five minutes and Cristiano Ronaldo punched it through twice on his own...

As a matter of fact, the goals by CR7 set a new Champions League record for goals in a campaign- with 16...

The final was 5-0 on aggregate- and it wasn't even that close...

Here's the PK by CR7 to advance to the final for the first time since 2002...

Bayern had never lost by three goals at home in Europe- they lost by four today...

Bayern Slaps Around Barca

((HT: UEFA/Fox Soccer))

There are times that, in soccer, that half a Messi would be worth facing a full Messi and teams would still cower in fear over facing FC Barcelona...

Today in Munich, in the first round of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, was not one of those times...

An admittedly banged-up defense and Messi on one leg combined with a very physical roster of Bayern Munich gave the home squad a 4-0 win and poises them only 90 minutes at Camp Neu away from playing for the trophy.

Here's the Bayern highlights...since there aren't really any Barca highlights...

It was Barcelona's biggest loss in the Champions League since 1997, a 4-0 defeat to Dynamo Kiev in the group stage in 1997.

He Who Hesitates Hits The Post... Chelsea Wins Champions League

((HT: FoxSports/UEFA))

Just don't ask Bastian Schweinsteger if he'll ever double-clutch on purpose ever again in a penalty kick situation...

In what a lot of people were calling the last game Didier Drogba was going to play for Chelsea's blues, he added to his legend with a header in regulation for the tie of Bayern Munich and the kick in the bottom of the fifth frame for the winner to give Chelsea its first-ever Champions League title.

It means that Chelsea bumps Tottenham out of the competition next year, and the Spurs can't be happy about it...

Here's the highlights...

And the analysis from Rob, Eric, and Brad is hyah...

Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes removal of both goal-scorer Muller and Arjen Robben in regulation turned out to be a mistake as the game went to PK's.

Think that'll happen again, either...???
