The National Football Foundation announced the College Football Hall Of Fame class of 2014 Thursday.  Here's who got in.

Tillman Plus Ten: Where Are We...???

The answer, sadly, is nowhere and everywhere...

Do we have all the answers...??? No...

And we may never get them...

Mike Fish has done some more quality work talking about where we are in all of this. He tracked down Bryan O'Neal, who survived the friendly fire assault, and Steven Elliott. Elliott was one of the Rangers who fired upon Tillman and the two other Rangers in the mountains. He thinks he may have been the soldier who fired the shots that killed him.

The HQ has given to, and will continue to, the Pat Tillman Foundation...

And what happened then, and what has continue to happen to this day- not just in the Tillman case, but other incidents- should give cause to all of us as to what we pay attention to and how we do it.

Always question... always ask... and always wonder...

Cris Collinsworth has maintained that Tillman should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The HQ would go with that as long as others like Bob Kalsu are given the same honor in a wing for contributors.

Former U of Washington Coaching Legend Don James Passes Away

He was arguably the guy that made University of Washington football great back in the 70's, 80's and early 90's. And he won at least a share of a national title in 1991.

He is Don James and he passed away Sunday at the age of 80 after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

James coached the Huskies from 1978 until he retired in 1992. In that stretch of time, he won 157 games losing only 53.

He was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997. No word yet on Washington's plans to honor James next week.

In Case You Missed It: Phillip Fulmer to College Hall of Fame

No, really.

The Great Pumpkin got voted into the College Football Hall of Fame...on the 1st Ballot. Really....it's true.

Phillip Fulmer, former University of Tennessee head football coach, winner of a national title and owner of a nearly .750 percent winning percentage was one of 8 coaches on the 2012 ballot. This was his first year eligible.

We've made fun of Fulmer in the past, but quite honestly, he was a very, very effective coach during his 16-year tenure in Knoxville. Like many coaches, he hit a mid-career lull in the mid-2000's and it effectively cost him his job in the "What have you done for me today?" world of SEC Football. It also didn't help that he gained the reputation as someone who'd allow any type of kid to enroll. A heavy rotation of players with legal issues cost Fulmer dearly. It also motivated the blogosphere with OSG Fave EDSBS.com coining the term "Fulmer Cup" for the college football team with the most arrests during the offseason.

Fulmer has been out of coaching since 2008 and pops up on occasion as an analyst for CBS College Sports. His name also surfaces pretty much any time that a job comes open in the SEC.

We say congratulations Phillip Fulmer, this is quite the honor and though we will probably still call you the "Great Pumpkin" at least now you can say "Call me Mr. Hall of Fame Great Pumpkin".
