Why do some male football types have issues with women?
It started with ESPN football analyst David Pollack already stuck his foot deep inside his mouth over the weekend telling a national audience that a woman had no place on the College Football Playoff Committee.
Intentional or not, he came off sounding like a condescending ass.
Now you can add Pat Dye to that list.
Yes, the former Auburn head coach decided to add his 2-cents to that when he told Alabama Sports Talk Radio WJOX that Condoleezza Rice: "All she knows about football is what somebody told her"
----sigh---
He went on to dig the hole deeper according to AL.com, saying among other gems: "I love Condoleezza Rice and she's probably a good statesman and all that but how in the hell does she know what it's like out there when you can't get your great and it's 110 degrees and the coach asks you to go some more"
You'll have to listen to the interview from WJOX RIGHT HERE
For those who don't know, Rice is heavily rumored to be one of many participating in College Football's new "Playoff Committee".
That committee will be charged with picking the Top 4 teams to play in the new "Playoff System".
Yes, that means the BCS is going away. After the 2014 season.

Pat Dye Goes Stumping In Alabama Mayor Race...
((HT: Gordon Stone))
Full disclosure...
The HQ knew this was coming down the pipeline and this is only a part of the interview that was done for the campaign involving the town of Pike Road, Alabama (just outside Montgomery) and the Mayoral race...
Gordon Stone is the incumbent and was an Auburn football player in the 1980's and he enlisted the presence of his old football coach for his latest round of advertisements...it's in the middle of the ad...
We can't wait for the stuff from the cutting room floor to make it out alive...
The election is coming soon... and if more Coach Dye makes it out, we'll see if it can be turned...
Enjoy...
