John Wall's Very Emotional, Very Long Day

John Wall played with what seemed like an endless supply of energy in the Washington Wizards-Boston Celtics game last night.

The reason was that Wall lost a very close, personal friend and fan in 6-year-old Miyah Telemaque-Nelson. Miyah was one of the many victims to cancer these days- one of the too many, really. After dedicating a double-overtime victory to her, Chris Nelson talked to Wall afterwards.

There are times when sports is reduced to its emotional core and support for everyone else around you is shown in a raw fashion.

It's sad that takes events like Wall's loss to remind us of what is important...
