Today, the schools, the track and NASCAR made it official.
The game slated for September 10th of 2016, assuming it's played, could potentially set the World Record for highest attendance figure at a College Football game. The stands are slated to be ready to host 150,000 screaming fans.
And according to the Knoxville News-Sentinel, the attendance will reflect on how much each school could make. Reporter Evan Woodberry says both schools will get 40,000 tickets each. If they sell those tickets, it's a $4 million payout.
