The prosecution had their moments with a police officer constructing what they believe to be the events in the bedroom the night of the Reeva Steenkamp murder. Police Colonel J.G. Vermeulen swung a cricket bat at a makeshift construction of the Pistorius bathroom to recreate the event as they saw it unfold.
He, naturally, faced tough questioning from the defense lawyer...

Testimony also continued from a friend of Pistorius', Darren Fresco, about the incident previously talked about where the Olympian shot a hole in a sunroof in a vehicle...

Piers Morgan Flames Out In Cricket Challenge
((HT: The Score/Cricket Australia))
TV host Piers Morgan must have thought that the sport of cricket wasn't all that tough...
So, Brett Lee, who has been clocked at over 100mph went head-to-head with Piers on "The Cricket Show."
Lee hit him four times, Morgan fell over once, left with a cracked wrist, a bruised rib, and a welt on his head.

Chris Gayle Shatters Century Records In Cricket
((HT: IPL))
For those not familiar, the most base comparison is to make cricket like either batting practice or Home Run Derby...
For Chris Gayle today, it was the both...
Gayle, in Twenty20 play today, scored the fastest "century" (or 100-point total) in league history- only needing 30 at-bats to pull the feat off. Gayle took four balls less than Kent's Andrew Symonds in a Twenty20 game against Middlesex in 2004.
Gayle told ITV4 afterwards: "I'm lost for words. It was just one of those days. It's a good wicket and I started well. I got a good total. I can't say it's a decent total - it's a good total."
Here's the highlights...
Purists call the IPL "cartoon cricket" because of all the different rules changes that promote scoring... and, a lot of the purists shook their heads over what happened today...

Tendulkar Gets 100th Century...
Don't know how many of you follow this stuff, but it is the stuff of legend...
Wright Thompson, over at the four-letter, wrote a piece less than a week ago about India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar- who is the equivalent of Hank Aaron or Babe Ruth when it comes to his sport if you combined him with George Clooney... it was a follow-up to a bigger piece he wrote about why we should care about Sachin and his sport...
Someone so dominant and transcendent for so long that his amazing talents continue to amaze...
He was chasing after an unheard-of milestone for over a year, and finally got it...
((HT: CricGossip.com/youtube))
No, the HQ has no idea how scoring is kept...
But it's still a cool thing to see...
To get 100 Centuries is hard to quantify...
Think of it like Roger Maris, consistently, hitting 61 homers every year of his career until he retired or Ichiro getting over 200 hits every year of his...
That's what we're talking about...
