OSG Prem: Pardew Fined, Suspended For Head Butt

Which, probably, means that he's done at Newcastle after the season since he's been banned for the next seven matches and there's only nine left in the 2013-2014 season...

Here's what started it all...

So, the larger question is: Does Pardew survive all this even with a top-ten finish in the table...???

Prolly not...

Here's the FA's statement:

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew will serve a seven-match suspension with immediate effect, subject to any appeal, after he admitted an FA misconduct charge.

An Independent Regulatory Commission today [Tuesday 11 March 2014] ruled the first three-matches imposed are a stadium ban with the remaining four a touchline ban.

Pardew was also fined £60,000 and warned as to his future conduct.

He was involved in an incident with a Hull City player in the 72nd minute of the fixture on 1 March 2014.

The ban is only a three match ban from the stadium proper and the last four are a situation where he can sit in the director's box if he chooses...

No word on if Pardew will challenge or who will be running the show...

OSG Prem: It Is The Beginning, Pardew Charged By The FA

((HT: Sky Sports))

Here's the statement from the FA:

"Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been charged in relation to an incident in his side's game against Hull City on 1 March 2014.

"It is alleged that in the 72nd minute of the fixture, Pardew was involved in an incident with a Hull City player that amounted to improper conduct.

"Due to the serious violent and/or aggressive nature of the reported behaviour this case has been designated as non-standard.

"Pardew has until 6pm on Thursday 6 March 2014 to respond to the charge."

Newcastle fined Pardew 100,000 pounds and there won't be any kind of criminal proceedings since neither David Meyler nor Hull City pressed charges on the head butt...
