Okay, other than the trip to the Bahamas, we have no idea why a bowl game is played there. And based on the video, it appears nobody actually went to the game.
But boy TV viewers were treated to one of the craziest games and finishes in a long, long time.
Western Kentucky won the game over Central Michigan 49-48. But not before the Hilltoppers nearly lost it.
The Chippewas, down 49-14 scored 34 straight points in the 4th quarter, coming within one on one of the craziest plays we've ever seen. QB Cooper Rush heaved the ball downfield on a hail mary throw. One of his receivers Jesse Kroll caught it in traffic and began a series of laterals which ended in a Titus Davis scoring the Central Michigan touchdown at the buzzer.
Rather than settle for a bowl game tie, the Chippewas went for the 2-point conversion and win. It failed.
Rush set a bowl game record with 7 TD passes overshadowing Western's QB Brandon Doughty who threw for 486 yards and 5 TD's.

UCF's Hail Mary Is A Conference Clincher
So Central Florida earns a share of the American Athletic Conference championship but it was a heck of a way to win it.
Knights quarterback Justin Holman connects with Breshad Perriman on the successful hail mary to lift UCF to a 32-30 win over East Carolina.
"Justin threw the ball." Perriman said. "I knew he was coming to our side. It was a perfect ball. I was blessed enough to come down with the catch."
"That was a great last play," UCF head coach George O'Leary said, "That's the second conference championship in a row, that's the first time in school history. That's great for the players and I'm happy so happy for them."
Here's how the voice of the UCF Knights Marc Daniels called it.
UCF shares the AAC title with Memphis giving the Knights claim to back to back conference championships.
It was a gut wrenching loss for East Carolina.
“I’ve experienced games like that before and it doesn’t get any easier. It’s tough." East Carolina head coach Ruffin McNeill said.

Louisiana H.S Wins Playoff Game on Hail Mary Pass
This doesn't happen very often, but it's pretty cool when it does.
Set-up: Last play of the Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA) vs. Holy Savior Menard in the Louisiana Division III Select Playoffs. Menard is up 24-21, clock is nearing zero.
Dunham has the ball on Menard's 46 yard line.
Quarterback Jayron Walker drops back and throws the ball as far as he can into a crowded end zone full of players from both teams.
And somehow the ball ends up in receiver Joshua Matthews's hands.
Touchdown...game over, Dunham comes back and gets the win 27-24.
Wow!
Here's video of the fateful play--
