With one second left in the game Hawaii quarterback Ikaika Woolsey threw it up for grabs in the end zone and receiver Marcus Kemp out jumped UNLV's Tajh Hasson to haul in the game winner for the Rainbow Warriors 37-35.
"You know I’ve been coaching for a long time and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a win like this." Hawaii head coach Norn Chow said.

Super Clasico Friendly Really Wasn't...Brawls, Injuries, Ejections In Vegas...
((HT: KLAS-TV))
When Club America and Chivas Guadalajara play each other, it's simply a blood feud...
They're the two most celebrated soccer clubs in Mexico and their fans and teams don't like each other. Someone came up with the idea of having the two play each other in Las Vegas for a friendly...
Which led to a lot of fans throwing everything at each other an hour before kickoff and things being thrown inside the stadium onto the pitch at players after the players got into a fight themselves and the game was finally over...
((HT: DJ KORA))
And here...
((HT: DANY10009))
Classy... a little background...
Club America is owned by media group Televisa and they play home games at Azteca Stadium- the largest stadium in Latin America. Conventional wisdom is that CA is the most hated team in Mexico. Kinda like the Yankees...
Chivas plays at Estadio Omnilife in Guadalajara.
The fans weren’t the only ones who wanted to fight on Wednesday night. Four players from the two teams were ejected during the match. 400 fans were involved in the fights and it took 120 cops to break the whole evening up...
Here are the player ejections and the row from the first half...

Here's team coverage...

Boise Back To Mountain West...???
That's the conventional wisdom, and for them, it would make the most sense...
The dissolving of the Big East Conference in basketball with the planned exit of the so-called "Catholic 7" is creating some discord with the inbound football-playing schools- and now it looks like Boise State is thinking about jumping back to where they were.
Why...???
Under the new post-season system, the Mountain West has as much stroke as the Big East does. The Big East's TV deal is in a large amount of doubt and discussion since it would take place starting in 2014- the season in which a lot of the schools are looking to leave, relocate, and/or not hang out with the Big East anymore.
Evidence of concern is hyah...thanks, KIVI-TV in Boise...
At the same time, it appears that the Big east is reaching out to UNLV and Fresno State to join if the western additions turn into abstentions. The idea of them joining seems somewhat far-fetched since there doesn't seem to be any kind of added benefit. San Diego State is still in play since they haven't decided to go back to where they were or not at present.
Meanwhile, when was the last time you heard about Boise and Washington squaring off in a defensive battle in Las Vegas...???

With A Back Up Quarterback Starting Washington State Overcomes, Defeats UNLV 35-27
You might think the odds would not be with
Washington State coming to Las Vegas with a back-up quarterback starting.
Well that back-up quarterback, Connor Halliday threw
for 26 of 45 passes for 378 yards and four
touchdowns as Washington State defeated UNLV 35-27.
With those kind of numbers what went
on in Vegas for Wazzou doesn’t need to stay in Vegas.
Halliday knew he would start in the middle
of the week and responded with a terrific game and the Cougars second win of
the year. Jeff Tuel was the starter but Halliday stepped in Friday night and if
Mike Leach was auditioning Halliday let’s just say he nailed it.“For a guy who hadn’t played football for a long time, I thought he played good.” Washington State head coach Mike Leach said. “I thought, really calm for a guy that hasn’t played a lot. I think his demeanor with his team was good.”
And Mike Leach.

OSG Buzzer Beater: Frankin's Last Second Heroics Lift Aztecs Over Runnin' Rebels
San Diego State guard Jamaal Franklin put up 24 points including going 8-8 at the free throw line and with 10 rebounds had is second double-double in a row, third overall this season.
What Franklin did at the end of the game was big time. He drove drown the lane and knocked down a lay up to beat the buzzer and put San Diego State on top for good defeating UNLV 69-67.
Here's the highlights from SDSU. (Thanks goaztecs.com/NBC Sports Network)
"We ran a good play," Franklin said after the game.. "My jump shot hadn't been falling so I had to get to the rim. I was going to try to draw a foul. Anthony Marshall stepped up and tried to take a charge but I just sidestepped and got a basket."
Even UNLV head coach Dave Rice had to tip his hat to Jamaal Franklin seizing the moment.
"I think the first thing is to give a lot of credit to Jamaal Franklin," Rice said. "That is a heck of a hard shot. We were just a little bit late on the exchange and he made a hard shot."
Very classy by coach Rice.
San Diego State is now 15-2 and 1-0 in the Mountain West
UNLV falls to 16-3 on the year, 0-1 in the MWC.
