Let's start with Saturday night---
Two goals by Patrick Kane and 24 saves by goalie Corey Crawford led the Chicago Blackhawks to the brink of the Stanley Cup Title late Saturday night.
The Hawks now lead the best of 7 series 3-1 and game 5 is Monday in Boston.
The game itself had some interesting stories. Perhaps the most significant is that of Boston forward Patrice Bergeron who left the game with an un-released injury. That injury however was serious enough that he was sent to a Chicago area hospital for observation.
Bergeron, according to the Bruins, has been released from the hospital and is expected to fly home with the team Sunday morning.
The other big story was Chicago center Jonathan Toews who did not play in the third period Saturday, after taking a hard hit from Boston defenseman Johnny Boychuk. Toews' injury was only described as "Upper Body." Boychuk will not be disclplined for the hit by the league
As most of you know, hockey players are notorious, particularly in the playoffs, for playing through almost any injury, and if we were into the whole betting thing, we'd bet on seeing both Bergeron and Toews Monday night.
Here are your Saturday night highlights: (Thanks NHL.com)

ICYMI: Bruins Roll Pens in Double OT--Take Commanding 3-0 Series Lead (UPDATE:: Campbell's Leg Is Broken)
Okay, admit it, how many of you hockey fans thought the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference finals would be this easy for the Boston Bruins?
Yeah, thought so.
The B's rode a Patrice Bergeron goal in double overtime, combined with stellar goalkeeping by Tuuka Rask for a 2-1 win Wednesday night and a 3-0 lead in their Best-of-7 series.
Rask stopped 53 of 54 shots, the goal happening at the end of period one.
And it took a great pass by Brad Marchand to a stunned Bergeron with less than 5 minutes to go in the second overtime to seal the deal.
Pittsburgh, which is fueled by stars Sydney Crosby and Evegni Malkin have gotten little or no production from their stars. As for Boston, in this game, they scored on their 1st shot of the game and then no more until the game winner.
It's not unheard of for a team trailing 3-0 in a series to comeback, but in this case, it sure doesn't look very likely.
Your highlights from NHL.com:
INJURY UPDATE: Gregory Campbell's leg is officially broken and not just a lower body injury. He's done for the playoffs. Campbell blocked a Evgeni Malkin shot in the second period... And just count how long he's still out on the ice defending the power play of the Penguins ((HT: NHL on NBCSN)) "The fact that he took that shot and he couldn't even move and he was still trying to play and get in the lane," said FOSG Brad Marchand after the game. "He did a great job and we really wanted to play for him and it just shows his character. He's always battling. He's always doing whatever he has to do, and he's been huge for us this playoffs so far."

Game 7: Nothing Better (Unless We're Talking Toronto)
It was the first time that a team came back in the third period and won a Game 7...
And there's a certain amount of the population that was waiting for the city of Toronto to end up in flames after the meltdown in the final period of the season. The Maple Leafs can learn from this experience (of being up 4-2 with 90 seconds to go) or be paralyzed for the next decade or so...
The HQ will be interested in the fall out...
Here's Bergeron's second of the night- and the game winner- and the series winner...
((HT: CBC/NHL))
And the NBC version with Dave Strader and Brian Engblom
((HT: CNBC/NHL))
Now, the Eastern Conference will have Pittsburgh vs Ottawa and the Rangers and Bruins in the semis...
