The lesson learned here should always be:
"Park with your windshields to the side or the back of any practice facility!"
Lest ye suffer the consequences of your lack of action...

Big XII Commish Thinks Enforcement System Is Broken
((HT: Big XII Conference/dpost.com))
And the HQ is inclined to agree with him...
Across the board, Big 12 Commish Bob Bowlsby thinks schools aren't being penalized in a timely fashion and the enforcement system that the NCAA is using is "broken."
Cheating pays, Bowlsby says, and he would even be amenable to private investigators looking at enforcing the rules and laws of the NCAA. Bowlsby also admits that not all schools cheat, but those who do can get away with it fairly easily.
Here's his pipebomb in its entirety this morning

DEVELOPING: Neymar Out Of Rest Of World Cup
((HT: ESPN/FIFA))
And you KNOW that the Argentinian futbol fans are going to want the head of the Colombian soccer squad after what went down in the 88th minute of Brazil's 2-1 win in the quarterfinals.
Juan Camilo Zuniga went high and the diagnosis is a broken vertebrae.
Now Brazil will not have Neymar or Thiago Silva for the Germany semi-final.

OSG High: So, About That Broken $60-Million Stadium...
((HT: WFAA-TV))
The Allen Independent School District (ISD) met last night in a closed-door meeting to figure out how in the blue hell they're going to get their three-year-old, mega-stadium figured out and fixed in time for the 2015 high school athletics season.
Two engineering firms are assisting the ISD in the analysis, but the construction company that was involved in making Eagle Stadium was not around for the meeting last night.
The stadium has been closed because of structural flaws and the inability for the stadium to support proper weight distributions of fans and the stadium itself.
Allen ISD is less than pleased that, it looks like, someone cut corners to get the barn up in time. And the ISD are waiting for the appraisal of the damage before giving the construction company their marching orders from this moment forward.
Jobin Panicker is outside the building

Jayson Nix Breaks Things With Baseballs
((HT: MILB.com))
Durham is hosting Pawtucket at the new DAP this week...
And this is what happens when you groove a fastball to the Bulls Jayson Nix...
He breaks things...
Lesson: Don't groove a fastball to Jayson Nix
No word if he has to pay for it...

OSG High: $60-Million High School Stadium... And It's Broken...
((HT: WFAA-TV))
Everything is always bigger in Texas...
And football stadia were no different...
The Allen Independent School District and its families voted to built the Taj Mahal- a $60-million facility for its athletic teams. It doesn't work...
The repairs have to do with Rebar, joints, and an inability to actually support the stadium itself on the ground it sits on. And that's not good...
Here's the look from outside since repairs have to go on inside...
Neighboring Plano ISD is renting their facility to the Allen ISD for football season- at $5300 a game...

Tuukka Rask Does Not Like His Tools
And, as we all know, a good craftsman never blames them when it goes wrong...
They just get destroyed...
Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask has done it before and he did it again last night after losing in a shootout to the St. Louis Blues
It's not the first time...
Did we mention, it's not the first time...???

This Is Awesome! Jeanneret Calls Game From Ice Level- Not By Choice...
((HT: NHL/MSG))
What else could go wrong this season for the Buffalo Sabres...???
First off, they're really, really bad...
But second the building that they're skating in, (now) First Niagara Center, had elevator issues all day Tuesday...
No one up, no one down...
And that includes Sabres play-by-play legend Rick Jeanneret...
He couldn't call the game from the booth, so he joined Rob Ray downstairs...
But Puck Daddy gives us a play from the game where Rick might have been calling "May Day! May Day!"

Is Zack Kassian Dirty...???
((HT: Sportsnet))
Vancouver Canucks right wing Zack Kassian faces a phone hearing with the NHL’s department of player safety after breaking the jaw of Oilers winger Sam Gagner Saturday night.
The league offered Kassian an in-person hearing which means he could face a suspension of more than five games.
The Oilers announced Sunday that Gagner is out indefinitely with a broken jaw and that he will miss the start of the regular season.
Here's the hit...
Craig MacTavish was quite vocal about his displeasure... "I don’t know that he wouldn’t have done it had we had...a Colton Orr in the lineup. But we could use that element."
And whaddya wanna bet they're going shopping...???

Sadlowski Breaks Golf Channel Simulator Again
((HT: Golf Channel))
Jamie Sadlowski broke the Golf Channel simulator with his driver a while back...
Well, he is a long drive champ...
So, Golf Channel brought him in and had him use a 7-iron for approach shots...
He did it again...
Is it going to be a wedge that Sadlowski will use next time...???
The HQ thinks that the Golf Channel either won't ask him back or he'll have to putt from now on...

Bjorn Bjusts A Camera At Bjritish
((HT: ESPN))
It's the first day of the Open Championship over at Muirfield...
There already have been some surprises...
Some guy named Shiv Kapoor, ranked higher than 200th in the world, lead for a while... so did Mark O'Meara and Zach Johnson tore up the front side. Phil Mickelson had some harsh words for the R&A over their pin placements and Ian Poulter decided to say that the 18th hole needed a windmill and a clown's mouth for it's placement...
Louis Oosthuizen withdrew over a back problem, and Thomas Bjorn broke an $80,000 camera...
Evidence below... and Peter Alliss' call is awesome...

ICYMI: Bruins Roll Pens in Double OT--Take Commanding 3-0 Series Lead (UPDATE:: Campbell's Leg Is Broken)
Okay, admit it, how many of you hockey fans thought the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference finals would be this easy for the Boston Bruins?
Yeah, thought so.
The B's rode a Patrice Bergeron goal in double overtime, combined with stellar goalkeeping by Tuuka Rask for a 2-1 win Wednesday night and a 3-0 lead in their Best-of-7 series.
Rask stopped 53 of 54 shots, the goal happening at the end of period one.
And it took a great pass by Brad Marchand to a stunned Bergeron with less than 5 minutes to go in the second overtime to seal the deal.
Pittsburgh, which is fueled by stars Sydney Crosby and Evegni Malkin have gotten little or no production from their stars. As for Boston, in this game, they scored on their 1st shot of the game and then no more until the game winner.
It's not unheard of for a team trailing 3-0 in a series to comeback, but in this case, it sure doesn't look very likely.
Your highlights from NHL.com:
INJURY UPDATE: Gregory Campbell's leg is officially broken and not just a lower body injury. He's done for the playoffs. Campbell blocked a Evgeni Malkin shot in the second period... And just count how long he's still out on the ice defending the power play of the Penguins ((HT: NHL on NBCSN)) "The fact that he took that shot and he couldn't even move and he was still trying to play and get in the lane," said FOSG Brad Marchand after the game. "He did a great job and we really wanted to play for him and it just shows his character. He's always battling. He's always doing whatever he has to do, and he's been huge for us this playoffs so far."

Long Drive Champ Breaks Golf Channel Simulator
((HT: Golf Channel/NBC))
And it's not the first time this has happened...
In 2012, former long drive champ Jamie Sadlowski broke the simulator with his club head speed...
Now, the folks in Orlando bring in Ryan Winther- thinking they packed it well enough not to have it broken...
Or not...
Okay...
Fool me once, shame on me... and the HQ remembers the rest of the quote...
