Panther Creek (NC) Catamount senior Nubian Spann catches an alley-oop from Juan Munoz and shatters one of his home gym backboards in a game against Apex High Friday night...

And it came out clean...
According to Zach Mayo from HSOT, via his Twitter, what makes this even cooler was that the dunk was Spann's first in-game dunk...

The game had to be rescheduled...

Whoa! Scary Collapsing Basket at Globetrotters Game

Yikes! Harlem Globetrotters power dunker Bull Bullard is a lucky man.

Check out this video of the teams game in Honduras, the team goes through their slight of hand, ball handling tricks before putting up a couple of passes against the backboard.

Bullard then swoops in for the big finish.

And brings down the house, literally. The basket collapses on him and the glass backboard shattered. Bullard got a cut on his head, but was apparently okay.

Shattered Backboard Suspends Metro State - Colorado School Of Mines Game

Friday night the Colorado School of Mines was set to play the top ranked team in NCAA Division II Metro State in Denver, Colorado.

With 6:44 left in the first half Mines Trevor Wages put a stop to the game.

The game was suspended with Metro State leading 21-16 and will resume on Sunday at 7:00pm mountain time.

Admission is free so those of us at the OSG HQ might hop a plane to Denver and check it out.
