Morning Wrap: Grizzlies Beat Kings With Crazy Finish

((ht: nba.com))

The great thing about sports is sometimes you see games end in ways you've never seen before. Last nights Sacramento Kings-Memphis Grizzlies game in Memphis is a perfect example of it.

The Kings had dominated Memphis for most of the night, leading by as much as 26 in the 1st half.

But the Grizz chipped away, trying to hold their 17 game home winning streak in tact. And on the heels of Mike Conley's 3-pointer with 10 seconds left, they took a 109-108 lead.

But the Kings weren't done. DeMarcus Cousins got fouled driving to the basket and hits the two free throws, giving Sacramento a 110-109 lead.

And with 0.3 seconds left on the clock, Grizzlies forward Vince Carter throws the ball in to a wide open Courtney Lee who grabs the ball and banks it in all in one motion as the buzzer sounds.

Grizzlies win...game over.

ICYMI: Vince Carter With the Buzzer Beater for Dallas

Yes, Vince Carter is still in the NBA. And playing significant minutes for the Dallas Mavericks.

The 37-year old Carter, once a Top-10 player in the league, still played a big role for Dallas as a 6th man. And likely he's not made a bigger play than the one he made Saturday night.

Carter drilled a 3-pointer from the left corner at the buzzer, giving Dallas a 109-108 win over the San Antonio Spurs in game 3 of their best-of-7 series. The Mavs now lead that series 2-1.

The shot, which came on a play that began with only 1.7 seconds left on the clock was a counter to the Spurs Manu Ginobili who drilled a runner giving the Spurs a 108-106 lead.

And then Carter performed his magic--

Mavericks Bench Crashers

Haha!

This is pretty funny. Apparently two guys, who look like they stepped out of a Saturday Night Live skit managed to find their way down to the Dallas Mavericks bench Tuesday night during the Mavs/Pistons game in Detroit.

They look pretty harmless...well actually, they look drunk as they are parked between Delonte West and Vince Carter. And though it may be hard to see, Carter seems to be laughing about it.

Take a look at this ESPN video. They pop in at around :23 seconds in.
