Well, okay...
She hasn't filed divorce for 20 years because of "financial arrangements..."
The HQ thinks that means that she wouldn't be as rich without Donald Sterling as she would be with him. So, it's better for her if she waits it out in a community property state.
And when you go to the dementia card in light of conversations that came out in the radaronline.com recording...

Donald Sterling just wanted sex and was just saying whatever not knowing the conversation was being recorded...
Sterling will ask for forgiveness in an interview with Anderson Cooper that is set to air Monday night...
The HQ can't wait... for both the interview and for both the Sterlings to leave as both Donald and Shelly seem to just want some story to stick to the wall for everyone to believe...

"Under the NBA Constitution, if a controlling owner's interest is terminated by a 3/4 vote, all other team owners' interests are automatically terminated as well. It doesn't matter whether the owners are related as is the case here. These are the rules to which all NBA owners agreed to as a condition of owning their team."

More Ex-NHL'ers File Concussion Lawsuits
Another federal class action lawsuit has been filed against the National Hockey League alleging their attitude towards treating ex-players who suffer from health-related problems directly resulting from their efforts on the ice has been non-existent.
The lawsuit was filed in Minneapolis with ex-NHL'ers Dave Christian, Reed Larson and William Bennett named as plaintiffs. The suit puts forth the notion that, from the AP, the NHL put its players "at a substantially higher risk" for developing memory loss, depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
Larson is a member of the US Hockey Hall of Fame. Here's an example of what he did in the NHL with Kevin Maguire in 1987- in addition to all the scoring and All-Star appearances

Christian was a part of the "Miracle on Ice" squad and is also a member of the Hall of Fame.

Bennett played for the Whalers and Bruins. Larson and Christian are Minnesotans. Bennett is from Rhode Island.
How these three became connected for the lawsuit is unclear, but it is now the third such suit involving the NHL and former players wondering about treatment for their post-career injuries. The first suit was filed back in November and the second was filed last week.

Concussion Settlement May Not Have Enough Money, Older Players Excluded...???

Now, if this don't beat all... and it's not a shock if it turns out to be true...
But the Shield is buckling down in the settlement where:
1) Some of the earliest diagnoses would be disqualified and those families would not get any of the $765-million pot. Names like Mike Webster and Justin Strelczyk would fall into this category...
2) Some lawyers representing players are getting paid directly from the player's settlement money. This flies in the face of the initial notion that the fund would not be used for legal fees. This lends itself to the idea that some lawyers would get multiple paydays.
3)Is there, simply, enough money to go around if individual awards would be capped at $5 million for players suffering from ALS, Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease, $4-million for deaths from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, and $3 million for players suffering from dementia.
And we're talking hundreds of plaintiffs...
Some lawyers interviewed by Fainaru and Fainaru-Wada say yes. Some say no.

Bengals Owner Won't Link Concussions To Dementia

Mike Brown was part of the Cincinnati Bengals kick-off luncheon today... and he went off the rails a bit in his own thoughts linking (or not) concussions and dementia...
Reedy was there and this was part of the discussion:
“No one really knows what concussions mean, especially as you grow older. It’s not only not proven, it’s merely speculation that this is something that creates some form of dementia late in life. Our statistics — the ones I’ve seen anyway — don’t show that.
“I’m not convinced that anybody really knows what concussions bring, what they mean later in life if anything.”

The NFL is currently in mediation over the concussion lawsuit in Pennsylvania being heard by District Judge Anita Brody. Two weeks ago, according to Reedy, the Bengals were on the short side of a judgment put forth by former tight end Ben Utecht in an injury grievance...
Full disclosure: The HQ is active in the Kevin Turner Foundation and Team Gleason where football players are suffering from ALS after their time in pro football.
