"Little Big League" Turns 20 With An FOSG Twist

((HT: WCCO-TV/Columbia Pictures))

The movie is twenty years old and really is making us feel old at the moment...

Timothy Busfield's-Paul Molitor character with the twinkle toes swing
Jonathan Silverman learning the value of pumping up the glove
The hidden ball trick fooling Ken Griffey, Junior
Having Randy Johnson to close a playoff game

And, of course, "Bite Me!"

The star of the movie was invited back in town to celebrate and there's even an FOSG twist at the end of the story

But, there's always math we have to deal with, isn't there...???

OSG High: "When The Game Stands Tall" Trailer Released...

((HT: Sony Pictures Entertainment))

For twelve years, De la Salle High School didn't lose a football game...

151 in a row... and then, they lost...

The bigger story there is what happens when you lose and all the questions that go along with it- mental, physical, emotional, class, geography, place, and everything else associated with it.

Jim Caviezel, Michael Chiklis, and Laura Dern get the adult roles in the new movie coming out this football season (August 22nd) about the Spartans and their place in high school football lore...

Based on the Neil Hayes book, which the HQ has and has read and has in its collection, it centers around the time in 2004 when the streak came to an end, how the murder of Terrence Kelly, and the heart attack of Coach Ladouceur effected all associated with the Spartans program.

The message is about doing things the right way...
As it should be...
