ChiSox Chris Sale Puts Teammate's Phone Number On Hat

((HT: CSN Chicago))

White Sox pitcher Scott Carroll has an interest in a company called doodlehats.com- where, for $19.95, you can buy a hat that has a dry-erase front where you can write any message you want.

Fellow pitcher Chris Sale wore one of the hats to promote Carroll's business during a postgame interview, but Carroll got a surprise with the information- his own cell phone number was being promoted on the front of the lid.

The phone rang until, Carroll says, 3AM with people who would call and then hang up.
And Carroll is now trying to debate revenge on his teammate.

Vernon Wells Goes CSI On Nunez Injury

((HT: Sportsnet))

There was a reason that Mark Reynolds had to play his second game ever at second base against the Toronto Blue Jays for the New York Yankees...

Cano- injured...
Nunez- really injured...

So, Yankees outfielder Vernon Wells (back in his old haunt of Toronto) decided to... um... outline the Nunez injury that has Reynolds doing his job at position 4 pregame...
See...???

Funny...

Hey, Those Headsets Cost Money, Y'Know...

((HT: FS Ohio/MLB))

As is the Fox Network way over the last few years, they try to have instances during the game where an in-game interview yields some kind of tremendous insight...

During the Indians game Monday night, Justin Masterson (who wasn't pitching that night) was the interviewee...
And his teammates tried to unsettle him during the whole thing...

The HQ gives Masterson credit for his unflappable behavior- he may have a future in television before it's all said and done...
