The ACC Has A New Logo (You're Just Not Suppose To Know)

Well this didn't work out well.

The ACC was going to reveal their new branding after Memorial day only the conference's new brand identity was leaked.

Here's the new logo:

Someone even tweeted it looks like a iron.  Another tweeted the conferences new logo has a Notre Dame color scheme.

Here at the OSG HQ we aren't logo critics but it is what it is.  A brand ID.

Florida State 2012 SEC Champions? That's According To Menelik Watson's Ring

Menelik Watson was a lineman for Florida State's 2012 Championship team but what confused Watson was what conference the Seminoles won according to his tweet.

"Just got my Championship rings. Apparently I'm the only player in #Fsu history to win an SEC Championship!"

Well Georgia Tech was once in the SEC but left in the early 1960's.  Florida State tried to get in but didn't.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, Watson will receive a corrected "ACC" championship ring ASAP.

I just hope the engraver doesn't put "AAC" this time.  Would that be unfortunate.

Watson was drafted in the second round by the Oakland Raiders.  A Super Bowl ring probably isn't in the cards in the near future.

Austin, TX TV Stations Cuts To Commercial, Misses Brent Seabrook's GW Goal

A master control operation at KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas has some explaining to do to his boss because of this Wednesday night.



The good hockey fans in the Austin, Texas TV market missed the game winner.  Talk about bad timing.  At least the anchors of KXAN-TV's news cast received a captive audience for that promo.

The station did apologize to viewers on air.
