How About A Goalie Goal...???

For this, which is always cool, we go to the Quebec Major Junior League

Cape Breton (which is responsible for the video) Screaming Eagles goalie Francois Brassard pulled this off against Quebec


According to the QMJHL, Brassard becomes only the fourth goaltender in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League history to score, behind Antoine Lafleur (P.E.I., 2005), Maxim Gougeon (Rimouski, 2008) and Peter Delmas (Lewiston, 2008).

OSG Prem: Stoke's Begovic Scores... And It's A Big Deal...

After just 12 seconds in today's Stoke-Southampton match, Potters goalie Asmir Begovic scored for Stoke City- joining the likes of Tim Howard, Paul Robinson, and Peter Schmeichel as goalies who scored in Premier League action.

It was 1-1 at the break...

Marty Brodeur Scores In Return To Ice

Moose Hedberg got his time between the pipes while Martin Brodeur was out with a back injury that kept him out a month...

So, what do you do to welcome yourself back...???

Technically, he was credited with a goal since he was the last Devil to touch the puck in an own goal situation.
But, hey, a goal is a goal... and a power play goal is a power play goal...

And This Goalie Goal Makes 11

During a delayed penalty, Cyclones goalie Brian Foster became the 11th ECHL goaltender to do this...


And it wasn't even at the end of the game... just the first period in their 2-1 win over Trenton...
The victory gave the Cyclones four straight and padded their lead in the North Division to five points.
