Okay, this is impressive. It's hard enough to stop a puck when you've got someone bearing down on you alone at full speed.
But a behind the back glove save?
Check out Kasimir Kaskisuo, goalie for the University of Minnesota-Duluth during his teams game against Miami (OH).
The save against an attacking Cody Murphy...well, yeah...um, just watch it...

Union College On Top Of The College Hockey World. Dutchman Defeat Minnesota 7-4 To Win NCAA Frozen Four
For those who have never heard of Union College its a liberal arts college located in Schenectady, New York with an enrollment of 2,200. Hockey is the only sport the Dutchmen compete on the Division I level with the rest competing on the NCAA Division III level.
Saturday night in Philadelphia Union met Minnesota for the NCAA Frozen Four title, the first championship game appearance for the Dutch and defeated the Golphers 7-4 to win the national championship.
Shayne Gostisbehere is the only Union player that is going to the NHL and if he wanted to Gostisbehere could suit up for the Philadelphia Flyers next week. He's just a junior so there's a chance he might come back though.
Gostisbehere played big again in the title game with one goal, two assists and five shots but it was his defense that sealed Union's first national title.
Gostisbehere was flying all over the ice a sacrificing his body for the cause.
Here's Gostisbehere after the game:
Yes it was an unbelieveable moment for the Dutchmen.

Allegations of sexual assault made against several members of the school’s men’s hockey team caused the suspension...
Here's university President and Vice Chancellor Allen Rock discussing what the school knew and when about the hockey team's visit in Thunder Bay, Ontario...
((HT: Ottawa Citizen))
)
Recommendations "nine months from now" are not sitting well with activists and students who are looking for more of an immediate response...
Here's Global News look at uOttawa...
)
A "day of reflection" the week of the 23rd is set to raise awareness about sexually violent behavior on and off campus.
"The university congratulates the independent group on its initiative and encourages members of the university community to take part in the meetings and town halls that the group plans to organize," Rock said in an emailed statement to the Canadian Press.
"I will urge the task force to collaborate with the independent group and to look closely at the eight recommendations they have tabled."
But more people are calling for the suspension of the athletes being investigated in the hockey incidents. The longer the inactivity continues, the more angst there is on campus...

Hockey Player Banned For Life After Punching Ref
((ht: sportsgrid.com))
Whoa! You kind of have to look closely at the video to see it, but it's plainly there.
The "It", is a uppercut thrown by Nipissing University (Canada) defenseman Brett Cook and it connects with linesman Nicholas Pinche trying to get him to the penalty box and off the ice during a scrum that broke out.
And according to reports, Cook initiated everything, the later fight, (closer in the video) broke out after Cook's penalty.
Ontario University Athletics, well they frowned a bit on all this, banning Cook from playing in their league.
Forever.
Read the whole story from the Toronto Sun RIGHT HERE
Sure, Cook later issued the apologetic statement and his coach expressed his remorse over the whole issue. But Cook, a promising youngster won't be playing college level hockey in Canada. Nobody knows if this will end his pro aspirations--if he had any.
But sorry dude, there is NO excuse for this. Caught up in the moment or not. You deserve the lifetime ban. And if you had thought about playing hockey as a career, well, maybe it's time to work on getting your college degree.
