Tempers flared multiple times last night at Fenway as the Tampa bay Rays went after Boston.

And for David Price it seemed like last night was his opportunity to get back at David Ortiz after his playoff homer that rubbed Price the wrong way.

Yu Darvish had a no-hitter with two outs in the top of the ninth when this happened against David Ortiz...


Darvish lost a perfect game last season with two outs in the ninth and lost the perfect game this time in the seventh.
He struck out 12 and lasted 126 pitches and lost a no-hit bid for the third time in his career in the 8th inning or later...

David Ortiz and Red Sox: Not having fun anymore (Video)

Hmmm.

Interesting.

Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz said Thursday, before the teams game with the Miami Marlins that "He's not having fun anymore" and there is "Too much *!$& going on" surrounding the team.

Listen as he describes his thoughts about the circus that life with the Boston Red Sox has now apparently become.

This raises a couple of interesting questions? Is it that ugly in the clubhouse? Is Ortiz right? Or are they just tired of dealing with all the "Issues" raised by "Anonymous" reports?

If "Big Papi" is right, yeah, we sure could see why he'd want out too.

This is what we needed to get the mid-season break going in Major League Baseball- a nice bench-clearing brawl...

Friday night had the Red Sox and Orioles...

David Ortiz never backed down as a batter, and Kevin Gregg never backed down as a closer... and it happened again... with the two of them facing another...

Here's the at-bat... and both times that Ortiz went after Gregg...


"I don't feel proud of a situation like that, but I'm the kind of person that don't like being pushed, you know what I'm saying? I feel like I was pushed last night to do something like that," said Ortiz. "Everybody has a button, and once it gets touched, it changes your mind in a second. So, I guess that was my time."

Gregg was mad that Ortiz, in his mind, took his time when the teams knew it was an out to short right... Ortiz was just, you know, taking his time...

Interesting to see if we get a sequel any time soon...
