The Pats QB has a loft near the location of the Back Bay fire in Boston yesterday...
He was in a position to see what was going on up close and was just as shaken up as the rest of the city...
Here's Brady's interview with Dennis and Callahan and his comments were spot on and poignant...
"
Props to Captain America for his words on a tough day...

June 2012 Murder Weapon Found In Massachusetts, Linked To Hernandez
((HT: CBS 3 Springfield))
Jailene Diaz-Ramos of Bristol, Connecticut was involved in an car accident June 21st in Springfield, Massachusetts and taken to a local hospital. Police inventoried her car and found a Smith and Wesson .38 in a black briefcase in the trunk of her car.
The gun was sent for testing and state police confirmed it was the weapon used in the killing of two men outside a Boston bar in 2012. That murder has been linked to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Diaz-Ramos told police the gun belonged to a friend she referred to as "Chicago." She told police she drove "Chicago" and his friends to work, and that they are football players- for whom and for what level of football wasn't disclosed. She also said that the people she drove to work wanted to leave the briefcase in the trunk so they wouldn't have to bring it into work.
Diaz-Ramos was arraigned in Springfield district court for illegal possession of a gun and ammunition and released on $1,000 bail.
Here's the story from Springfield...

"Toronto Stronger" Or Not...
((HT: @nicklachey_10))
Stay classy, Leafs Fan...
This was a sign outside the ACC for Game 3 of the Bruins-Maple Leafs series...
And unless your city just got bombed... this has no place being created or seen...
Since the HQ knows a lot of Leafs fans, we know this is not a thought of the majority- just someone who was far from clever...

Boston Strong Personified At Bruins Game 2
((HT: NESN/NHL))
The Boston Bruins are honoring those close to their city every home game the Bruins have during the Stanley Cup playoffs unedr their "Boston Strong" banner...
Last night, a Marathon runner who lost both his legs in the bombing was the honoree. Jeff Bauman, a worker for Costco, got to come out and wave the flag before the game with the Maple Leafs...
And it was cool...
Here's the ceremony...
"I want to thank everyone for their amazing support for me and all those injured and their families," Bauman said in a statement. "I'm making great progress and I thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. "Please continue to respect our space at this time," he said. "I want to thank the Bruins players and organization for the generosity and support for all those impacted. Like all those in Black and Gold, I can't wait to see them on another quest for the Cup."

Bruins Pre-Game Salutes Marathon Bomber Victims
((HT: ROOT Sports/NHL))
It was another chance for the city of Boston to give thanks after a tough week...
Both Rene Rancourt and Phillip Phillips did it well...
Here's the salute which hits home again...
It didn't have the colorful metaphors like they had at Fenway, but it had the exact same message...

Papi F-Bombs Marathon Bombers
((HT: NESN/MLB))
David Ortiz did what a lot of Bostonians thought and felt over the last five days...
The words were simple and very effective...
Amen, Big Papi...

Boston's Mayor isn't much of a Sports fan (video)
((ht: espnboston))
And we now have even further proof that politicians don't live in the same universe that the rest of us do.
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is either really confused or doesn't have someone in his ear to tell him the proper names he is supposed to be talking about. And in a Sports crazed town like Boston, we are guessing that this isn't going to go over very well, though it is kind of funny.
In the video, Menino is asked about the Boston Celtics, in his answer, he talks about KJ and Hondo. And while Kevin Johnson and John Hondo Havlicek both did play in the NBA and Havlicek actually did play for the Celtics, we think he's trying to refer to Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo.
And according to ESPN Boston, this is nowhere near the 1st time he's butchered his local Sports heroes.
Read that story RIGHT HERE
Okay, yeah, the argument can be made we are all being too tough on the guy. But we don't think so. Sure, we know a "City Leader" is supposed to have a ton of things on his mind to deal with. And, no, we don't know Menino who may be a very sharp guy.
We don't buy that here.
Anyway, listen, watch...and revel...
