Aaron Hernandez's legal team made a motion to suppress evidence that they say was seized without a valid search warrant, but the judge in the case denied the motion earlier this week.
Photos and surveillance video from inside Hernandez’s home were part of the evidence list released by the prosecution and the material, apparently, shows him with a gun just hours after Odin Lloyd’s murder in 2013.
Text messages between Hernandez and Patriots coach Bill Belichick were also part of the evidence.
Belichick gave investigators a written statement after Hernandez’s arrest as did Pats owner Robert Kraft.
Here's the latest on a lot of different stuff

In another development, Hernandez's cousin Tanya Singleton pleaded guilty to a criminal contempt charge. Prosecutors had apparently granted her immunity and Singleton refused to testify before the Hernandez grand jury.

Hernandez Lawyers Want Lloyd Murder Charges Dropped
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Surprising no one, really...
Lawyers for Aaron Hernandez are asking a Massachusetts judge to throw out some evidence in the murder of Odin Lloyd.
They asked a Fall River (MA) judge to exclude surveillance video from Hernandez's home and they want evidence seized from cellphones and other electronic devices kept out of the case.
In addition, later today he is set to be arraigned on the alleged assault of a fellow inmate who was heckling him as well as allegedly threatening to kill a guard and his family when he was in a county jail.
Here's the defense pleading their early case...

DEVELOPING: Two Hernandez Associates Charged With Murder
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Two associates of Aaron Hernandez have been indicted in the Odin Lloyd murder from 2013 according to the Bristol County (MA) District Attorney's Office. A grand jury returned separate murder indictments on both Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace- who have been the focus of the prosecution's efforts in getting someone allegedly involved in the Lloyd murder/Hernandez case
Both men will be arraigned on the charges, but a date has not been set for them to appear in court.
Wallace has previously pleaded not guilty to "accessory to murder after the fact" and is being held on $500,000 cash bail.
Ortiz has also pleaded not guilty to "accessory after the fact" and is being held on the same amount.
Aaron Hernandez is being held without bail in connection with the murder of the 27-year-old semi-professional football player's death.
Ortiz had been previously regarded by the prosecution as "unreliable" as a witness for the prosecution back in February after the state thought that they could have him as their star witness...

Ever Dance With The Devil In The Pale Moonlight...??? Aaron Hernandez May Have...
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Or, at least, may have danced (whether out of exercise, enjoyment, or celebration is unclear) the night that Odin Lloyd was murdered...
In a report out of the Daily Mail, the article by M.R. Freda alleges that the former Patriots tight end dance in front of the headlights of his car at a gas station early in the morning of the Lloyd murder.
He also may have been high at the time of the murder as sources told the Mail that Hernandez was a user of PCP and synthetic marijuana.
Security footage from the evening in question has been turned over to investigators that allegedly shows Hernandez buying. gum and a cigar 20 minutes before picking Lloyd up where he eventually end up dead...
Here's the rundown on that new notion...

Could Aaron Hernandez's Barber Be A Good Witness...???
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Ted Daniel's superior coverage of the Aaron Hernandez murder trial brings an interesting angle...
Daniel brings the supposition that, since Hernandez looked rather spiffy when he was escorted out of the house, his barber is worth a talking to about Hernandez's activities (and what Robby Olivares actually knew). Court documents actually lend credence to the notion that Olivares and Hernandez were social.
The night at the Rumors night club where Odin Lloyd may have spilled what he knew about Hernandez's activities may have had another witness- either direct or indirect- in Olivares...

Search Warrant Tells Hernandez Involvement In 2012 Double Murder
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
According to a recently released search warrant, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez became a suspect in a June 2012 double murder in Boston just after the Odin Lloyd murder.
North Attleboro (MA) police received a tip from an employee at the Rumor Night Club in Boston.
Rumor is where investigators say Hernandez and Lloyd argued before Lloyd was eventually murdered a few days later. The employee told detectives that a patron "accidentally spilled the beans" in front of him about something Hernandez did.
Then, a Boston Police detective remembered seeing Hernandez on surveillance footage taken at the Cure Lounge on the same night of the double murder of Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu. Apparently, there is now video of a Toyota SUV circling the lounge waiting for a car that contained the two just before they were the victim of a drive-by down the block.
Alexander Bradley was supposedly with Hernandez that night as well. Bradley would be later shot in the eye and blames Hernandez for it. Hernandez was allegedly driving a car and shot Bradley while he was sitting in the passenger's seat. Bradley couldn't initially tell why Hernandez was waving a gun around in a car talking to Bradley, but it ended up in gunfire...

Odin Lloyd Family Files Wrongful Death Suit Vs. Hernandez
((HT: Fall River Herald News/Fraga))
Surprising no one really...
Odin Lloyd's family has filed a wrongful death suit against former new England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez...
They're also asking a judge for a restraining orders that would keep the Patriots from paying out Hernandez's contract and allowing for a "real estate attachment" on his suburban Boston home so it could still be considered an asset in determining his worth in a civil case disbursement...
There is no value floating around as to the worth of the civil suit and the attorney representing the Lloyds will be in court Thursday to argue their case.
Dolphins center Mike Pouncey was interviewed by a grand jury last week to discuss his relationship with Hernandez that goes back to their time at the University of Florida. Pouncey was served that subpoena to appear October 27th after a Patriots-Dolphins game in the tunnel after the game finished. Police believed at the time that Pouncey is a "material witness" who could "advance their case" against Hernandez.
They plan on working the angle surrounding interstate gun trafficking and Hernandez's possible involvement in it as part of his off-field behavior...
Here's the recap of the Pouncey grand jury visit...

"Chicago" Says He And Hernandez Are "Clean..."
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
John Alcorn is known as "Chicago" in Bristol, Connecticut circles...
He is also known for being in Aaron Hernandez's circle and has been linked to activities in and around the murder of Odin Lloyd and the late night drive-by shooting in June of 2012 that killed two others...
He was called in front of the grand jury trying to determine his possible ties to a .38 caliber handgun found in the back of a car that belonged to Jailene Diaz-Ramos. Diaz-Ramos was involved in a traffic accident and police found a gun and three loose rounds. A .38 has been tied to the double murder and Diaz-Ramos tied the gun to "Chicago."
After ballistics tests, the .38 was tied to the murders of Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu...

Hernandez Girlfriend/Fiancee Arraigned On Perjury Charge
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Depending on which side of the judicial world you ask, Shayanna Jenkins is either Aaron Hernandez's girlfriend or fiancee...
And the girlfriend/fiancee was in court today to answer to her perjury charge...
She was released on a personal recognizance after her arraignment in Fall River (MA) Superior Court. Prosecutors had sought $5,000 cash bail. And this is the prosecution's attempt to put pressure on her in order for her to flip and be a witness against her boyfriend/fiancee...
Remember, if she's regarded as a fiancee, she can't testify against Hernandez- which would be HUGE!!!
The prosecution, back in August, maintains that Jenkins lied to the grand jury- including information (or a lack of information) about where she allegedly threw out a box Hernandez asked her to “get rid of” after the Odin Lloyd murder.
Here's the hearing in full...

Defense attorney Janice Bassil said in open court that Jenkins answered every question in front of the grand jury and there's no evidence of perjury. Jenkins was also granted immunity for her testimony.

Hernandez Fiancee, Family, And Associate Indicted
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
Remember our old friend "reasonable doubt...?"
Well, he was reintroduced when Ernest Wallace decided during his bail hearing yesterday that it was only Aaron Hernandez that exited the car when Odin Lloyd was allegedly murdered in June. Wallace originally said it was Hernandez and Carlos Ortiz that exited the car when Lloyd was shot and killed.
So, today Fall River (MA) authorities brought charges on Hernandez's girlfriend/fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, was indicted on a single charge of perjury in connection to the murder investigation.
From My Fox Boston:
In August, the Hartford Courant reported investigators searched a storage unit in Connecticut rented to Jenkins because they believed she made "overt attempts to hide evidence" as well as to "hinder and mislead" the murder investigation. The newspaper reports surveillance video, text messages between Jenkins and her sister, as well as an interview with her sister, are all referenced in the documents as officials suggest Jenkins may have information regarding what happened to the handgun used in the shooting.
According to court documents, Jenkins was reportedly seen on surveillance video carrying a plastic bag believed to contain a "rigid object" from Hernandez's home and placing it into a car one day after Odin Lloyd was found dead. She returned to the home nearly a half hour later without the trash bag.
One of Jenkins' uncles told investigators Jenkins handed him and another uncle a cell phone and Hernandez asked for all of the weapons to be removed from the couple's North Attleborough home. The uncle claims the weapons were discarded "into the woods."
Jenkins was indicted at the same time the grand jury voted to indict Hernandez's cousin, Tanya Singleton, on a charge of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact. Investigators say Ernest Wallace, who is charged with accessory to murder after the fact, told Singleton about the fatal shooting. She was held after refusing to testify before the Hernandez grand jury.
Carlos Ortiz had also previously pleaded not guilty to a gun charge in connection to the case after cooperating with investigators. A plea deal fell apart and Ortiz was indicted on a charge of accessory to murder after the fact as well today...
Here's the story...
Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston
All this movement by the Massachusetts grand jury and authorities means that the Wallace testimony doesn't look to be any more credible and the prosecution is looking for some back up in order to convict...

Prosecutors: Carlos Ortiz Changes Testimony In Hernandez Case
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
And is now making it extremely interesting... and, maybe, extremely difficult to make a clean conviction...
The words "reasonable doubt" are now in play...
During the Ernest Wallace bail hearing, it was made clear that alleged Aaron Hernandez co-conspirator Carlos Ortiz is now saying that only Hernandez exited the car at the scene of Odin Lloyd's murder. Originally, Ortiz said both Hernandez and Wallace exited the car.
Prosecutors claimed Wallace told Hernandez's cousin, Tanya Singleton, about the Lloyd murder, and Singleton was jailed for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating Odin Lloyd's murder. Investigators also allege a portion of a text message between Hernandez and Lloyd took place on Wallace's phone.
Wallace's attorneys maintained that their client should have had a bail lower than $500,000 because he was charged with accessory and not an actual murder charge. The judge ruled Wallace should continue to be held on $500,000 bail.

June 2012 Murder Weapon Found In Massachusetts, Linked To Hernandez
((HT: CBS 3 Springfield))
Jailene Diaz-Ramos of Bristol, Connecticut was involved in an car accident June 21st in Springfield, Massachusetts and taken to a local hospital. Police inventoried her car and found a Smith and Wesson .38 in a black briefcase in the trunk of her car.
The gun was sent for testing and state police confirmed it was the weapon used in the killing of two men outside a Boston bar in 2012. That murder has been linked to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Diaz-Ramos told police the gun belonged to a friend she referred to as "Chicago." She told police she drove "Chicago" and his friends to work, and that they are football players- for whom and for what level of football wasn't disclosed. She also said that the people she drove to work wanted to leave the briefcase in the trunk so they wouldn't have to bring it into work.
Diaz-Ramos was arraigned in Springfield district court for illegal possession of a gun and ammunition and released on $1,000 bail.

Hernandez Investigation Turns To Fiancee
((HT: WHDH-TV))
The Hartford Courant is coming out with a story that now has another layer to the Aaron Hernandez murder investigation...
The investigation is now shifting to Hernandez's girlfriend-fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins...
Police have searched a storage locker in Connecticut leased in her name and paid for with Aaron Hernandez’s credit card. Nothing was taken from the locker, but police will probably return at some point in their investigation...
Investigators refer to surveillance video form inside Hernandez's home, text messages, and an interview with Shayanna's sister, Shaneah, that give them the feel that Jenkins may have had knowledge of what happened to the gun used in the murder of Odin Lloyd.
From Jenny Wilson's article:
According to the records, June 18 footage from the home shows Shayanna Jenkins leaving the basement of the house around 1:15 p.m., carrying a trash bag, which authorities say contains a heavy "rigid object," resembling a lock box or safe. She placed the trash bag in the trunk of a red Nissan Sentra. Surveillance footage showed her returning 35 minutes later and opening the trunk of the car, which no longer held the trash bag and "rigid object," the records show.
The day after Odin Lloyd’s body was found, surveillance video reportedly captured Jenkins leaving the home she shares with Hernandez and their child carrying a trash bag. Authorities said it looked like it contained hard container like a lock box or safe.
Police found a .22 in a wooded area blocks away from the Hernandez house. They think the .22 was the gun that Hernandez's accomplices- Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz- were seen carrying the night of the murder.
Here's the story from WBZ-TV
Jenkins has yet to be charged in any aspect of the investigation. And conventional wisdom is that Jenkins will be used to twist Hernandez to incriminate him and keep her out of jail...

Hernandez Search Day 5: No Gun, But More Accusations
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
On day five of searching Pine Lake in Bristol, Connecticut local authorities still haven't found the gun that supposedly killed Odin Lloyd, but new court records released by the Attleboro (MA) District Court maintain that one of Aaron Hernandez's alleged accomplices saw the former Pats tight end put guns in a box in his basement after returning from the industrial park where Odin Lloyd was killed.
Carlos Ortiz told investigators Hernandez put firearms in a black box after Odin Lloyd was killed- one, a small gun Ortiz handed Hernandez after they returned to Hernandez's home. The other Ortiz called a "large handgun."

DEVELOPING: Police Searching Connecticut Lake For Hernandez Weapon
((HT: WFSB-TV))
Police in Aaron Hernandez's home town of Bristol, Connecticut are searching a local lake/pond for a weapon that may be connected to the Hernandez murder investigation.
In addition to Connecticut officials, Massachusetts State Police and officials with the Bristol County (CT) District Attorney's Office are also at the scene to assist.
The .45-caliber pistol that police believe was used to kill Odin Lloyd has not been found, but authorities believe that a .45 can be seen in Hernandez's hand from stills in recent surveillance video from his home the night of the Lloyd shooting.
Pine Lake/Malone's Pond is near the house owned by Hernandez's uncle, where the Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz- Hernandez's alleged co-conspirators- are thought to have driven after the Lloyd shooting. Police executed another search warrant there recently.
The apartment complex where police found the Chrysler 300 driven by Wallace before his arrest is also near the lake/pond.

Ernest Wallace Held On $500k Bond
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
The third of the members allegedly involved in the death of Odin Lloyd was in front of an Attleboro (MA) judge to have his fate determined.
End result: Being held on $500,000 bond...
Ernest Wallace, prosecutors say, was with Hernandez when he picked Odin Lloyd up on June 17th. The case prosecutors are laying out against Wallace has him discussing with Aaron Hernandez recovering weapons that may be associated with the murder case. The two could be seen going into the basement of Hernandez's home as seen on the home security system.
More information in the case against Hernandez was released in a 104-page release yesterday that included Xeroxes of Hernandez holding what looks like a .45- the murder weapon in Lloyd's death.
Prosecutors also said that the next day Hernandez and Wallace returned a rental car and picked up a new one before Wallace went to Hernandez's Franklin "flop house"- the third location in suburban Boston that was eventually searched for evidence in the Hernandez case. They also maintain Wallace then fled to Florida with the assistance of Hernandez's aunt.
He was picked up there and extradited back to Massachusetts...
Prosecutors wanted Wallace to be held on $1 million bail- saying that he was a flight risk whose only source of income was Hernandez...
Which, really, isn't a surprise...

Do Surveillance Images Show Hernandez With Murder Weapon???
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
The court documents involved in all of the Aaron Hernandez proceedings are slowly making their way out into the public domain-gawd bless public records requests...
The new release is a 104-page warrant goes into a few different events...
One was the morning of the first visit to the Hernandez home where North Attleboro, Massachusetts police describe the ex-Pat as "argumentative" and asking, "What's with all the questions?" The police also say he "slammed" the door when police told him they were conducting a death investigation.
Hernandez's fiance, Shayanna Jenkins, said the couple bought the surveillance system because of "several recent break-ins at their residence." This was before Hernandez told Jenkins to cease cooperating with local police in their investigation.
The 104 pages were fairly well redacted...
The warrant also says investigators claim that a shell casing found at the crime seen and one found inside a car rented under Hernandez's name were fired from the same gun.
There are also Xeroxes of photos from the surveillance video taken from the Hernandez home system (seen right, thanks MyFoxBoston)- some that identify him holding a weapon of some sort. Prosecutors believe that the weapon in one of the pictures is a .45- the same type of gun that killed Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez Warrants Released In Murder Investigation, Ortiz Allegedly Told Who Did It
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
156 pages of warrants and information on them were released today in the Aaron Hernandez investigation...
Biggest non-surprise is the behavior or Hernandez in the investigation...
Investigators said that Hernandez became "argumentative" toward them when he was first being questioned and that his behavior "did not indicate any concern for the death of any person." The documents also say Hernandez told his girlfriend-now-fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, that his agent didn't want her talking to investigators.
Hernandez also talked with Odin Lloyd via text and wanted to know if they "were still on" the night of the murder

Carlos Ortiz was denied bond today in another development. In Massachusetts, defendants who are thought of as a "danger to the community" may be held without bail for 90 days.
The third defendant in the case, Ernest Wallace- who is facing an accessory-after-the-fact charge- pleaded not guilty. He will be held without bail until another hearing on July 22, under an agreement between his attorney and prosecutors.
Also, Ortiz is quoted as telling police that Wallace told him the day after the shooting that Hernandez admitted to killing Lloyd.

Police Find More Evidence In Hernandez Condo, Also Discouraging Jailhouse Marriage
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
It's been an interesting day or two in the Aaron Hernandez investigation...
Two more properties connected to Hernandez- a condo in suburban Boston and his uncle's condo in his hometown of Bristol, Connecticut- have had evidence taken from them.
Search warrants show that police found a white hooded-sweatshirt and a baseball cap allegedly worn by Hernandez the night Odin Lloyd was murdered at an apartment Hernandez rented in the suburban Boston town of Franklin. Investigators said they also found a valet parking stub from the W Hotel, which is near the Rumor nightclub in Boston.
Prosecutors allege Hernandez came up with the plan for Lloyd's murder at Rumor because he was angry with Lloyd talking to people about a topic Hernandez didn't want discussed and talking to people at the club that Hernandez "did not like." Police also say they found ammunition in the apartment, including .45-caliber ammunition – the same caliber as the handgun used in the murder.
Also, there has been talk of Hernandez marrying his girlfriend-now-fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins. Jenkins had been cooperating with police during early questioning until she received a call from Hernandez telling her to stop. If the couple was married, Jenkins could be protected from testifying against Hernandez at trial.
Bristol County (MA) Sheriff Tom Hodgson is saying he'll do everything he can to block a marriage- encouraging anyone who wants to get married in jail to stay out of trouble and get married someplace else more appropriate in the first place.
"We're not going to revamp our entire security system to perform marriages inside our prison. If you want to get married, what you do is, you stay out of jail," he told the NFL Network's NFL AM program.
