The HQ, admittedly, doesn't know what to think about the below video- other than it's a far cry from VH1 and interviews on Dr. Phil talking about relationship and financial problems.
Terrell Owens is trying a new approach and career. And while, yes, it's indoors it's not indoor football.
It's bowling...
Chris Wesseling writes that Owens is the celebrity owner of the Dallas Strikers a team in the new Professional Bowlers Association League- whatever that means...
He had a "break in his schedule" and got to bowl a 475 series in the United States Bowling Congress Open Championship...
Evidence below...

Terrell Owens Fires His Agent Drew Rosenhaus, Hires A New One To Play In NFL
The whole Terrell Owens circus is becoming very, very sad.
Today Owens announced on his website he has fired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent and has signed Jordan Woy of Willis & Woy Sports Groups LLC as his new sports agent.
According to Owens’ website site terrellowens.com, Woy and his team will work on placing Owens on the football field for the 2012 season.
“It was important for me to hire someone who believes in my ability to help an NFL team and believes in me as a person.” Owens said in a statement released by his website.
Owens was cut by the rag tag Indoor Football League. He's 38 years old and by all reports a pain in the backside in the locker room.
"I have had to go through some humbling times but I am more determined than ever to show a team that I can be a huge asset to them as a player and a team leader in the locker room." Owens said in his released statement.Team leader, huge asset. I don't think so.
The curtain has fallen on the T.O. show in the NFL.

Terrell Owens cut by Indoor Football League team

The Allen Wranglers announced today they've released Terrell Owens.
Not only did Owens attempt to play for the team, he was given a partial ownership share.
But apparently, it only took a couple of months for his co-owners to get tired of his act. The team says the "Straw that broke the camels back" was Owens no-showing a hospital event. But of course there was the matter of him picking and choosing which games he felt like playing in too.
Read the press release from the team RIGHT HERE
We'd laugh hysterically at this if it wasn't so typical of Owens. He's never gotten the fact that he is not bigger than any team that he has played for.
Ever.
It's apparently never dawned on him that the problem is not the team he plays for or the players he plays with...its him.
Why else would nobody in the NFL touch him this past season? And they won't touch him this season either.
It's just kind of sad because with a normal person's head, Owens really could have been the greatest wide receiver ever. But the guy is living, breathing proof that it doesn't matter how talented you are, if you are unable to play with others, there's no room for you at the inn.
Maybe this was too much for him:
Wonder what the baby mamas are going to do now? This may have been too much info here as our "Anti-Hero" tries to appear sympathetic on Dr. Phil's show:

The Player's Appearance On "Dr. Phil"
((HT: Dr. Phil Show))
The HQ really couldn't resist this- despite our personal feelings on the matter...
Believe what you want where the following is concerned...
The claims are that the three women on the show have children through The Player. He claims that all their attention is because of a need for money and nothing else. They claim he is a liar...
Among other things...
Can we thank Drew Rosenhaus for this...???
Prolly...
Next question...

How's life in the IFL Terrell Owens?
Haha!
This isn't a holy crap play as much as it is indicative of what has happened to a great athlete who let his ego get in the way of his game.
As we and many others have documented, Terrell Owens has gone from Pro Bowl receiver to Indoor Football League receiver.
Mind you the IFL isn't even the major leagues of Indoor Football.
In this play, Owens, who plays for the "Allen Wranglers" gets introduced to the side wall by the New Mexico Stars defense.
Enjoy the fall T.O:

The Player Is Indoors
((HT: IFL/youtube))
Terrell Owens made sure that everyone in the Indoor Football League took the first quarter to get their popcorn ready...
The first play of the second quarter was his first career IFL catch...
He ended his day with three catches, all for scores, and 53 yards receving in his "business opportunity" with the Allen Wranglers. The home team beat Wichita 50-30...
And so it starts...
The HQ wonders how long it will last...

The Player Joins The Wranglers...
The Player is coming back to play football...
Just indoors, though... he'll be part-owner and participant for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League...
"[Owens] has an ownership stake," Wranglers co-owner Jon Frankel said after the signing. "This is a business decision. I'm glad everybody looks at the players' aspects. I can't believe T.O. will come out of that tunnel for the Allen Wranglers."
Frankel said he would like to schedule a news conference at the Allen Events Center late next week- open to the public...
If that doesn't spell train wreck, the HQ doesn't know what would... for GM Drew Pearson... and the rest of the IFL...
Mike and Mike discuss...

T.O. blows out knee...Could he finally be done?
![]() |
| Terrell Owens |
Could it be? The legend is his own mind, Terrell Owens, done with football? It's possible.
The reason, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Owens recently had ACL surgery after blowing out his knee. His sources are a bit conflicting though, one saying he did it taping a reality show for that bastion of quality TV, VH-1 and the other source saying he did it during a work out.
Owens mouthpiece, Drew Rosenhaus hasn't issued a statement to confirm or deny this, but both of Mort's sources agree he had the surgery. The sources also say, with rehab, if he so chose, Owens could possibly come back and play by the end of November this year.
Read the ESPN.com story RIGHT HERE
T.O is second only to Jerry Rice in all-time receiving yards and has had a fairly successful career despite his issues with ego. He was reasonably successful in 2010 with the Cincinnati Bengals, catching 72 passes, but there were questions as always about his commitment to the team. They didn't ask him back.
We're betting you'll see him at least make an effort to get back on the football field after he recovers, eventually, someone will take a flyer on him and if it is at a reduced price, he could be worth it. Yes, we know, nobody would touch him other than the Bengals in 2010, but we think as a late season rental, he could potentially have something to offer a team in need. But that's it. He won't play in 2012.
Here's a somewhat crappy dub of last years premiere episode of "The T.O Show" for those interested:
