This is what happens when a reporter calls John Tortorella by the wrong first name...
Bad to think of him as the GM...
Very bad...

Rick Ray Apologizes For Snap At Henderson
((HT: SEC))
First, let's show you what happens when Ole Miss plays Mississippi State...
It's never very nice, and now it has carried over to basketball...
The HQ thinks there's an expletive in slo-mo here when State coach Rick Ray goes after Marshall Henderson
Whatever was said, Ray has responded to it:
"I responded inappropriately to an Ole Miss player [Saturday] in our game," Ray said in a statement he texted Sunday. "I reached out to [Ole Miss] coach [Andy] Kennedy immediately to apologize and subsequently to the player too. There is no reason for a coach to ever have interaction with an opposing player, ever, regardless of the circumstances. I was more upset with our performance than the player. I was totally at fault."
The season series was, once again, split at home and home...

Dennnis Rodman > Fran McCaffrey On The Nutty Scale
((HT: CNN))
And we have Chris Cuomo to "thank..." (?)
Rodman and a handful of NBA'ers are over in North Korea playing some exhibitions to further his idea of basketball diplomacy...
But Cuomo went there...
Asking Rodman about North Korean policy- which is like asking the HQ about nuclear physics- and Rodman went off to the googleplexed degree on live television...
Just watch his fellow players look at Dennis as he explodes...
Safe to say, the HQ thinks they all want to go home...
But, to continue the riff, Wolf Blitzer actually interviewed NBA Commissioner David Stern- which is a tremendous follow-up notion...
"Dennis will be Dennis, but I think there is a lot at stake here in terms of a ... a very dangerous country..."

CSU Assistant Apologizes For Double F-Bomb
((HT: Die Hard Sport via Troy Machir's Vine))
This was what CSU Defensive Line Coach Greg Lupfer had to say to Wazzu QB Connor Halliday in the New Mexico Bowl in the first half...
As it turns out, it wasn't a very nice thing to say, so he apologized:
"I am truly sorry for what I said. It was wrong and those words do not represent who I am and what I believe in. I apologize for the embarrassment I caused for Colorado State University, this team & my family."
The fallout from this will be interesting, but wholly unknown at present...
