Drake is on a bit of a roll as an ambassador for the Toronto Raptors...
And he's trying to get anyone of the big names in the NBA to come to the T-Dot for their next contract...
At a concert he wanted to bring Kevin Durant to the Raptors and, upon hearing this, the NBA fined the team $25,000.
Tim and Sid disagreed with the assessment

Tobias Harris With The Buzzer Beating Dunk for the Win
So, we often feature buzzer beater basketball plays here on OSG Sports, but those are usually half-court shots or 3/4 court shots or long jumpers.
Not usually dunks.
So here's your game winning Dunk of the Night.
The Orlando Magic. trailing 102-101 late in their game with Oklahoma City got the win last night after Victor Oladipo rebounding a missed Kevin Durant shot, hustling down court and dishing to Tobias Harris filling the lane, Harris got the pass and brought it home, fractions of a second before the buzzer went off.
Magic win 103-102. And the crowd goes wild:

Thunder Visit Moore, Oklahoma
((HT: Newsok.com))
Simply, it was the Oklahoma City Thunder's turn...
Players like Russell Westbrook and Hasheem Thabeet along with GM Sam Presti made their tour of the devastation in Moore. Since they couldn't get into the areas immediately after the tornadoes, they went to cheer up who they could in hospital.
FOSG Berry Tramel was around and caught up with Presti, who now understands about what everyone calls the Oklahoma Standard:
“We understand the Oklahoma Standard and stand ready to serve the people that have supported us,” Presti said.
“When our players run out of the tunnel wearing Oklahoma City across their chest, that doesn't end after 82 games.”
Thunder fans weren't the only people wearing Thunder gear at Ground Zero. The Thunder entourage did, too.
Presti, Brooks and the players wore leftover T-shirts from one of the playoff games. White T-shirts. With a word across the front.
“Community.”
Here's a look at some of what they saw...
In other news around Moore, the three schools in the state are combining resources to show their support on t-shrts that can be purchased on the OU online store.
The folks at restorejoplin.org are doing the same thing...
The HQ is encouraging support of everyone in Oklahoma in a way you see fit...

ICYMI: Kevin Durant Continues Helping Tornado Victims
We've said it before: We respect the heck out of athletes willing to give back.
That's why we can never say enough good things about Oklahoma City Thunder Forward and star Kevin Durant.
On the heels of his $1 million dollar donation to the American Red Cross (one matched by his team and the NBAPA), he went out to Moore, Oklahoma to see firsthand what happened and to help distribute supplies to those who need them.
Here's some video from the Red Cross their ownselves:
If you want to help the Red Cross help Tornado Victims, the best way to do it is donate. To donate, text REDCROSS to 90999 and make a $10 donation. Every little bit helps.

When Your Hurt, Momma Is Always There. Just Ask Kevin Durant
After the Oklahoma City Thunder lost game five of
the NBA Finals to the Miami Heat Kevin Durant poured out his emotions in the
arms of his mother.
Losing his first NBA Finals was tough for OKC's franchise player to swallow.
“It's going to hurt a little bit.” Kevin Durant said after Game 5. “We've got to move past it.”

In Case You Missed It: Heat hold off Thunder as Series Gets Interesting
Well, so far, this years NBA Championship series is actually living up to the hype surrounding it. The build has been all about Kevin Durant vs. LeBron James and after 2 games you can say that neither has disappointed.
The Miami Heat held off the Oklahoma City Thunder late Thursday night, 100-96. The Thunder did erase a 15 point lead in the 2nd half, but couldn't come all the way back.
And no, we aren't getting into the "Did he" or "Didn't He" alleged foul by James on Durant late in the game when the Thunder had a chance to close. It wasn't called thusly---no debate.
James erased some questions about his ability to finish late in Finals games, he scored 32, Dwyane Wade played more like Dwyane Wade, adding 24 and Chris Bosh was a big factor in the game, grabbing 15 rebounds.
The Thunder struggled early, missing a lot of shot and were often out of control. A lot of that had to do with Russell Westbrook, who was getting into the lane, but was rarely able to make shots while in there.
Already, the experts...or at least the clowns on the 4-letter-word (ESPN) have pretty much given the series to the Heat, and they do now have the home court advantage. But as we all know, advantages are only good until the next game and the next game is Sunday night...in Miami.
We'll see who steps up bigger this time because like we said in the beginning, for the first time in many years, this actually is an NBA Finals that is worth watching.

Thunder roll: Huge comeback sends OKC to NBA Finals
Anybody want to argue that Kevin Durant is the best basketball player in the NBA now?
Durant led his Oklahoma City Thunder to a rousing 2nd half comeback after being down 15 at the half as the they beat the San Antonio Spurs 107-99.
Durant had 34 points and 14 rebounds and just kept hitting clutch shot after clutch shot. Oh, his teammates weren't bad either. Russell Westbrook had 25 and The Beard (James Harden) chipped in 16.
And now the team in the smallest NBA market awaits the winner of the Boston Celtics/Miami Heat game Thursday night.
We applaud them for doing it the right way, draft picks, a few free agents and keeping the core of the team together. Yes, they are still young, but they are awfully deep and seriously talented. The only remaining question: "How will they handle the pressure of the finals?"
If this series is an indicator, they should be just fine. Though we suspect there was a huge collective 'Gulp' somewhere around Bristol, Connecticut.

Durant Goes Wild, Ibaka Was Perfect And Thunder Even Series With Spurs
Now that’s the Kevin Durant we know and love.
"My teammates did a great job always encouraging me," Durant said. "The Spurs, their defense was so good early in the game. In the fourth quarter, my teammates set great screens, had great passes."
After going into the halftime locker room with only eight points Durant emerged from the locker room for the second half the player we saw during the regular season, a scoring machine.
In the fourth quarter Durant couldn’t miss with 16 consecutive points as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs 109-103 to even the NBA Western Conference series at 2-2."My teammates did a great job always encouraging me," Durant said. "The Spurs, their defense was so good early in the game. In the fourth quarter, my teammates set great screens, had great passes."
While Durant would have 36 points in game four against the Spurs perhaps he was encouraged by the performance of Serge Ibaka. Who wouldn’t be all Ibaka did was have a career night with 26 points and a ridiculous 11-11 from the field. Only Larry McNeill's 12-for-12 night for the Kansas City-Omaha Kings in 1975 was more perfect that Ibaka.
With the series now even at two games the Thunder/Spurs feels like a whole new series.
Even a tougue lashing by Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich wasn't enough to overcome the heroics of Kevin Durant.
Game five is Monday in San Antonio.

In Case You Missed it: Revenge of the Thunder
You kind of knew it was coming. And the game, well, it was never really close.
The Oklahoma City Thunder woke up Thursday night. They took advantage of their youth, their speed and most importantly their home court, routing the San Antonio Spurs 102-82 tightening up their Western Conference finals series.
The Spurs still lead 2 games to 1 and there is no need for them to panic.
Sure, they lost their 1st game in the NBA playoffs, but you knew something like this was going to happen. And considering the experience of the Spurs, they probably will shrug this off.
Kevin Durant had 22 points, but the star of the game was Thabo Sefolosha, who not only covered Spurs point guard Tony Parker, he put up 19 points his ownself.
Really, there isn't much more to say here, this was one of those "It is what it is games" and don't read as much into it as our friends on ESPN will.
Game 4 is Saturday night in OKC.

Buzzer Beater Gives Game 1 To OKC

A last second floater over Shawn Marion gives the Thunder a 99-98 win in Game One in the Western Conference first-rounder over the Dallas Mavericks...
Here's Damon Fontenot to talk about it...

One Buzzer-Beater Begats Another- Durant One More Than Carter
And that's just a fancy word for "turns into..."
So, you're the Dallas Mavericks... you give the ball to Vince Carter for the last shot- which he makes, but there's still 1.4 seconds left in regulation...
Too much time away from your first win of the year...
Just ask Kevin Durant...
FOSG Beau Estes has the highlights...

Kevin Durant: Flag Football star
((ht: newsok.com))
NBA Superstar Kevin Durant must be a little bored. Or at least restless. Why else would he show up on the Oklahoma State campus and play in an Intramural Flag Football game.
This all started after Durant Tweeted about looking for a Flag Football game saying he needed "To run around or something".
Shortly thereafter, one of Durant's followers tweeted he was looking for someone to help out in his on-campus game Monday night.
One Tweet led to another and low and behold, just after 10 p.m, Durant shows up for a game that as it turned out, would lead him to play for the campus Sigma Nu fraternity team.
Read the entire story RIGHT HERE
In case you are wondering, Durant played Quarterback and Defensive Back. His stat line: 4 TD's and 3 interceptions.
And just so you know. This is why Durant is so universally liked. He may be a multi-millionaire athletes but he seems way more grounded than most. We applaud him for this and enjoy the spontaneity. And we are quite sure the guys at Sigma Nu got a memory they'll never forget either.

Kevin Durant Earns Some Street Cred
Kevin Durant can score at will on the floor for the Oklahoma City Thunder but how about on the playground?
Monday night Durant made his first appearance at Rucker Park to play a little street ball.
Let's just say he earned some street cred.
Durant totalled 66 points on the black top.
I'm sure OKC Thunder fans are thrilled.
