Russian Soccer Match Ends Early With Fans Swinging at Players

How do you describe a chaotic soccer scene where fans just overrun the field and start throwing punches.

Uh...no, it's not the end of a College Basketball match. It's what happened this morning during a Russian Soccer match between Zenit St Petersburg and Dynamo Moscow.

We, nor anyone else is exactly sure what set off the fans rushing the pitch other than Zenit was losing 4-2 late in the match. And while, it would have been tough to pull out a win, it was possible.

But no, the game was cancelled due to the fans actions made only worse when one of them took a swing at Dynamo defender Vladimir Granat.

Russian Soccer vs. Broken Water Main (Funny)

Haha! This is pretty darn funny.

Check out this video of a soccer game in Kazakhstan between Ekibastuz and Almaty (no, I'm not pronouncing them).

Apparently the game continued despite a water main that appears to have broken and a truck was called in to pump out the small flood in one corner of the field.

The players tried to figure out a way to kick the ball off the water surface and eventually do, but looks what happens when the ball goes back in play.

If your favorite football club (or "soccer team" in the States) is having a pretty crappy start (by your fanatical standards), how do you voice your frustrations...???

By launching a paintball barrage at the squad during practice...

That's exactly what fans of Dynamo Moscow did as their team is on their worst-ever start to a season. They had previously spray-painted threats outsie the team's training ground and launched flares and flyers at the players- even threatening the foreign players on the squad.

Now, it's paintball...

"I just can't find the right words," midfielder Alan Gagatov told R-Sport in an interview. "What are we supposed to do now? Should each of us hire a personal bodyguard? I was hit in the back of the head when they shot at us. Lots of players were also hit."
