Okay, the crime is 80-percent solved...
The production end of the production truck has been found- now, all Miami-Dade police have to do is figure out the who, the why, and the where of the cab...
Nicole Linsalata has reaction from NEP and Rich Eisen from Dolphins Stadium

Try And Sell One Of Those On The Black Market
((HT:WSVN-TV))
It's not very day the HQ does a story like this one...
For those of us who work in live event television, we need to function with one of those 40 to 50 feet long that has a lot of cameras, bells and other associated whistles, and the folks that go with it.
The NFL Network is in Miami getting ready to do the Dolphins-Bills game and all the other ancillary programs that go with Thursday Night Football.
But, the folks at NEP are responsible for the television production truck. The only problem is that the truck that was doing all the lion's share of the work was lifted from a gated hotel.
Nicole Linsalata is outside the hotel with the story of something you can't hide or hock.

Morning Wrap: Bengals Best Tackle--Downing Marvin Lewis
((ht: ftw.usatoday.com))
It may have been the only good defensive play by the Cincinnati Bengals in the Thursday night NFL showcase.
Check out the hit by Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick on Head Coach Marvin Lewis while chasing a play on the sideline...
Oooof...lookout Marv!!!!
That might have been the hit of the night. Mostly because the Cincinnati could do nothing to stop the Cleveland Browns who ran for 170 yards and beat the Bengals 24-3.

"Thursday Night Football" On CBS
[HT: NFL.com]
The NFL opened up bids for networks to partner with the NFL Network for it's created franchise "Thursday Night Football."
We have a winner. It's CBS.
"We are very pleased to build on our outstanding partnership with the NFL by expanding our coverage to Thursday nights," Les Moonves, president and CEO of CBS corp. said. "CBS is a premium content company and the NFL represents the best premium content there is. I look forward to all this new deal will do for us not only on Thursday nights, but across our entire schedule."
"NFL Network built Thursday into a night for NFL fans," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. "Our goal is to bring these games to more fans on broadcast television with unprecedented promotion and visibility for 'Thursday Night Football' on CBS."
With CBS in the mix for "Thursday Night Football" you will get more of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, CBS's #1 team will call the Thursday Night games.
Brad Nessler was solid during the games but Mike Mayock was outstanding. Mayock needs a regular NFL gig.
CBS will produce the games however the network will only air the first eight games. The NFL Network will air the last eight games on the season and two Saturday games leading up to the playoffs.
You won't get J.B. (James Brown) Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason or Shannon Sharpe on Thursday night. NFL Network hosts and analyst will be used for pregame and halftime.
All we can say in the OSG HQ is "Thank God more football."

Cee Lo Green: Your NFL Network Thursday Night Football Theme Singer
We are pretty sure he won't be singing the unedited version of his most popular song either.
According to reports, and because you KNOW you want to know, the NFL Network has a new singer for it's Thursday night game theme song.
And you are probably asking yourself; "Why does this concern me?" It doesn't.
We just wanted to mention it because we generally enjoy Cee Lo's work. Though we aren't big fans of the "Game Night Theme Song" thing, we'll be curious to see how it sounds. Yeah, we know Hank Williams Jr. was, Monday Night Football (until he got foot in mouth disease) and Faith Hill still slinks her way through the Sunday Night open, but honestly, we really think this just makes it all look like a movie spoof.
There is no REAL need to have a "Theme Song" NFL fans are either going to watch or they aren't. And no, this isn't going to get the casual fan, again, people will watch, or they won't.
But gimmicks are gimmicks and as long as this one doesn't stray into the breathless coverage of Tim Tebow's every move category (see ESPN), then we are okay with it.
On the odd chance you aren't familiar with Cee Lo, well take a listen:
Here's the clean version of his most popular song: (Sorry, you'll have to find unedited yourself)

Your NFL Lockout Update: Shopping Thursday Pkg. (Rich vs. Rich--Day 6,112)
![]() |
| NFL Commish Roger Goodell |
If anyone thinks that an agreement in the NFL Lockout isn't near, this should cool their jets. The Sports Business Journal is reporting Monday morning the league has been heavily shopping an early season 8-game Thursday night game package.
And they want it to start soon.
The deal would only run for the 1st half of the season. The NFL Network has a deal in place to do Thursday games for the 2nd half of the year.
The new package could be worth up to $700 million a year...something the "Allegedly" cash strapped owners and league say they desperately need. The SBJ says Turner Sports and Comcast are the leaders in the clubhouse for the deal.
Read the entire story from the Sports Business Journal RIGHT HERE
We knew that this deal was in play during negotiations with the players, so it isn't a shocker. For fans, we suspect, it would be an exciting thought. It would give them another night of football on TV early in the fall. We know the players..and coaches aren't incredibly enamored with Thursday games, though they do like when they are over and it is 10 days before the next game.
Trust us when we say this will happen. And yes, it is a pre-cursor to a labor deal getting done. They wouldn't be talking about this unless both the players and the owners thought that football would be played...and played soon. So make room on your DVR's folks, you may have one more thing you'll have to record.
For those into such things, here's the NFL Networks Thursday Night theme:
Brother Phil
