Never let it be said that the eye in the sky don't lie...
When Bastia was playing PSG a couple of months ago, this happened as Brandao was waiting for Thiago Motta in the tunnel
Brandao claimed that Motta bad-mouthed him on the pitch and he waited for his shot at revenge.
The French Federation suspended him for six months, but prosecutors got their pound of flesh- a month in jail plus an undisclosed fine.

AP May Be In Jail All Day... Again...
((HT: MyFoxHouston))
Montgomery County (TX) prosecutors have filed documents to have Adrian Peterson arrested again after he admitted to using drugs in violation of his bond condition.
Which really wasn't all that a smart idea...
Court records show while giving his urine sample during his court appearance earlier this week, Peterson admitted he had 'smoked a little weed' before the test.
As a result, the District Attorney's office has asked the judge in the case to set aside the $15,000 bond already forfeited in the case they're facing and have him arrested again.
Here's the motion by prosecutors to revoke the bond if you choose to view it
Rusty Hardin, Peterson's attorney, hasn't come forward to comment so far.
Which is news in and of itself...
DA Brett Ligon said he wants Judge Kelly Case recused after the she called each lead attorney in the case a "media whore."
Case apologized, saying the comment was meant as a joke. The remark was made after the attorneys wanted something along the lines of an expedited trial.
Hardin wanted something before Thanksgiving- which was denied. And it may be after the first of the year before the trial actually gets underway. It could be after Thanksgiving if the judge isn't bumped.
So, obviously, the timetable is still in play to get everyone into a courtroom...
Here's the story from the court where the judge misspoke...

Civil Suit Filed Against Aaron Hernandez- Kraft Family And Patriots Named As Well...
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
And all of this has to do with the 2012 double murder Hernandez is accused in recently...
A civil wrongful death lawsuit against Hernandez was filed on behalf of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado. Lawyers for the two families are looking to stop the New England Patriots from handing over the signing bonus that the NFLPA is looking to get for him as part of his last contract that he signed. The lawyers are also looking to freeze any assets left from the sale of Hernandez's $5 million suburban Boston home.
The lawyers for Abreu and Furtado want that money for their clients.
Here's the idea from the Hernandez camp
Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston
In another move, Hernandez's lawyers are looking to have their client moved to a jail closer to the city of Boston- since they have offices there and Hernandez also feel that their client's life is in danger.
From the motion:
"Surely there is now a reason to be seriously concerned about Hernandez's personal safety while housed at the Bristol County HOC and to question the ability of that facility's staff to treat Hernandez fairly and professionally while he is subject to their total control."

Josh Brent Is Out Of Jail, Would You Hire Him...???
((HT: CBS Dallas/KTVT/WFAA-TV))
Former Dallas Cowboys tackle Josh Brent is now out of jail after his time for serving his conviction for a car crash that killed Cowboys teammate, Jerry Brown.
Brent was convicted back in January of intoxication manslaughter for the December 2012 crash after leaving a nightclub. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 10 years' probation. The sentence is supposed to end in July, and it isn't clear how the rest of the sentence will be served- if at all.
Brent had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit for drivers in Texas- .08
Brent faced up to 20 years in prison for intoxication manslaughter, but Jones' mother testified about forgiveness at sentencing.
The next question is that of the Cowboys:
Would you bring Brent back after a suspension (if given) or the completion of the jail term altogether after being charged for intoxication manslaughter...?
Here's the thoughts of the Cowboys at the time the question was asked of the Joneses...

Could Josh Brent Be A Cowboy Again...???
((HT: WFAA-TV))
Here's a question for you...???
Could a convicted felon make a return to the Dallas Cowboys roster...???
Stephen Jones made a public statement saying that bringing Josh Brent back to the roster is a "work in progress" since he would be out of jail around the time that the Cowboys break for training camp.
Here's Joe Trahan to discuss the possibility
Really... the Cowboys are turning into the Raiders...

OSG High: Louisiana Coach Arrested For Underage Sex, Exposing Student To AIDS
((HT: WWL-TV))
A New Orleans-area high school track coach is in jail on a million-dollar bond after having sex with an underage boy and knowingly exposing him to the AIDS virus.
Derrick Nesby, only employed a year at HL Bourgeois High, was arrested on one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count of intentional exposure to the AIDS virus.
He denies the allegations in a very disturbing story- and, frankly, the HQ thinks the word "disturbing" barely scratches the surface...
Here's the story out of Terrebone Parish
The disgust in the HQ right now is pretty deep...

TMZ: Hernandez Gets Into Fight In Jail
((HT: MyFoxBoston))
And so it goes... without a whole lot of surprise...
Violence begets more violence and history repeats itself... et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...
According to TMZ Sports, Aaron Hernandez got into a fight with another inmate at the Bristol County Jail. Apparently, the gentleman at the end of Hernandez's beating had been jaw-jacking him all day. And, as it happens, the inmate and Hernandez got to cross paths in a hallway.
Normally, the former Patriots tight end is away from the rest of the jail population. But not in this case...
The HQ is shocked...
Here's the latest on the incident that the jail, as of yet, hasn't confirmed...
