Canadian Curling Olympic Trials to Feature Ron Burgundy on Play-by-Play?
Yeah, sure we know, it's a promotional spot, but that won't make it any less funny.
TSN announced Sunday night, they've hired a new announcer to help with their broadcast of the "Roar of the Rings" next week.
For those of us in the states, the event is a big deal, it's the Olympic Trials for the Canadian Olympic Curling team.
Oh, the broadcaster for hire, none other than one Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell).
You might be familiar with Mr. Burgundy's work: Anchorman and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. (soon to be released)
How could we pass up an opportunity for this?

Will Ferrell Does NLCS Player Intros Because Will Ferrell is Everywhere
For those of you not watching game 5 of the National League Championship Series, which started at 4pm eastern (1pm pacific) on TV.
Yes, Will Ferrell, the Ron Burgundy of well, movie fame and funny guy who shows up everywhere, introduced the Los Angeles Dodgers for the game. No, we don't think he intro'd the St. Louis Cardinals...
(But the HQ wouldn't know that for sure because TBS only showed less than a minute of it..)
He put his usual spin on it....

The Redcoats Are Here! Hey, Isn't That...???
((HT: Time Warner Cable/Lakers Network))
Some men are funny, some men have funny thrust upon them, and then there's Will Ferrell...
Last night at Staples Center, he was in full mustache as a security guy on the court...
And very few men can make us laugh by just standing there... and getting people kicked out of the arena that are much larger than he is...
Evidence below...

Yes, Will Ferrell introduced the Chicago Bulls last night
He was there, supposedly, to introduce the Chicago Bulls. And the game was promoted as 80's night.
Last nights Chicago Bulls at New Orleans Hornets game featured a "Guest" P.A announcer....comedian Will Ferrell.
Ferrell known for some great comedy movies and some "duds"...stepped out to center court and let the crowd in New Orleans know who was playing.
In the case of the Hornets, it was kind of needed.
Anyway, here's your video: (thanks CSN Chicago)
