Not really topics the HQ thought that would really ever be discussed about when on sports-based television programs. But when Chael Sonnen failed drug tests before his fight in UFC 175, he went on to the network where he is an analyst to discuss what went down...
Sonnen tested positive for Anastrozole and Clomiphene- anti-estrogen drugs normally given to women. If men take the drugs (banned by UFC), they reduce estrogen and can also help restart natural testosterone production. Since he had taken synthetic testosterone in the earlier parts of his career, Sonnen needed to take other medication for the correction inside his body later in life.
Sonnen is, obviously, appealing the ruling...

Marshall Henderson Suspended Indefinitely (UPDATED)

In a move that should, really, shock no one...
Ole Miss gunner Marshall Henderson has been suspended indefinitely from the team, but since it's the off-season, the HQ doesn't think this means a whole hill of beans right now, anyway...
But...
The suspension is related to a failed drug test, according to CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish.
Henderson's future with Ole Miss may be up in the air.
Seriously... according to Parrish...
Okay, then...
"Since the season ended we have talked a lot about Marshall taking a greater leadership role with our team," head coach Andy Kennedy said in a statement. "With that comes greater responsibility, and he must do a better job of living up to the high standard we expect from him an he desires from himself."
Henderson had attended Utah, Texas Tech and South Plains Junior College before his time at Ole Miss where he was known for things like this...

He has also been placed on probation in the past after trying to buy marijuana- with counterfeit money, and he has failed drug tests and served jail time for violating the probation associated with the charges.
THURSDAY UPDATE: Henderson, according to a report in the USA Today, was caught with marijuana and cocaine...

The Wall Street Journal broke the news: While stopped on suspicion of speeding on May 4, Henderson gave an officer a small bag containing marijuana. A police dog turned up a separate bag containing a small amount of cocaine.
The amount of cocaine was less than one-tenth of a gram, not enough to prosecute. Henderson was cited for lack of proof of liability insurance.

DEVELOPING: Josh Brent Can't Keep It Straight
According to WFAA-TV's Eric Valadez, through his Twitter, the Cowboys' Josh Brent failed a second drug test while waiting for bond to be revoked for 1st violation...
Brent failed the second drug test for marijuana, according to court documents. He is currently back in jail. Brent tested positive for marijuana on June 19th, according to court records. Test results were confirmed on Tuesday.
More when we know more...
Of course, the HQ would like to know why Brent is still employed by the Dallas football team...

"The defendant in this case has been repeatedly warned of the condition of pre-trial release in this case," the affidavit reads. "His continued use of marijuana demonstrates a pattern of conduct in disregard of this court's authority to properly supervise his pre-trial release."
