Admittedly, the HQ isn't a big fan of putting up video when someone decides to give themselves a good "attaboy" and, seemingly, rub everyone else's nose in it...
Which is what we think that the award show in Los Angeles is every year the network puts it on television...
We're going to make an exception here...
Pat Summitt is set to receive special recognition during the program tonight- as she should for everything she has done for college athletics and everything she will do still now that she is retiring from full-time coaching...
The HQ will always remember the interview we did with her in our early, cub reporter television days with her and her mentor, Billie Moore. We always made a point to ask a question in the future, when appropriate, about their relationship since we always knew what Moore meant as a trailblazer before Summitt was herself...
Put simply, the HQ backs Pat...
So does a UT quarterback...
