Oscar Pistorius Trial: Day 6- Pistorius Throws Up

Day 6 of the Pistorius trial had its moments...

The biggest was the sprinter vomiting in the courtroom when the descriptions of Reeva Steenkamp's wounds during testimony.

Pathologist Gert Saayman described the head wounds that the bullets caused as, probably, instantly fatal individually but in concert were completely damaging. Saayman's testimony was not broadcast or reported live on Twitter by journalists because of its explicit nature under an order from Judge Thokozile Masipa. Saayman said Steenkamp's right arm was also broken and she had multiple skull fractures, both because of the effect of the bullets...

Judge Masipa at one point even told Pistorius' attorney to check on his client. But the judge was told that Pistorius' reaction would stay the same and a bucket was placed at his feet- even as graphic photos (not facing the gallery) were being itemized by Saayman.

Security guard Pieter Baba concluded his testimony on Monday as well describing his interaction with Pistorius after Baba was called by others who lived in the gated community wondering about a disturbance in Pistorius' house the night of the shooting...
