Students Say University of Ottawa Task Force Is, Well, Not...

We first told you about the suspension of the men's hockey team at the University of Ottawa about a week ago when it was discovered a sexually explicit online chat about the head of the student union- who made it public.

A "day of reflection" the week of the 23rd is set to raise awareness about sexually violent behavior on and off campus.

"The university congratulates the independent group on its initiative and encourages members of the university community to take part in the meetings and town halls that the group plans to organize," Rock said in an emailed statement to the Canadian Press.

"I will urge the task force to collaborate with the independent group and to look closely at the eight recommendations they have tabled."

But more people are calling for the suspension of the athletes being investigated in the hockey incidents. The longer the inactivity continues, the more angst there is on campus...
