We know. You are as shocked to hear this as we were. And apparently as shocked as Jose himself.
According to a report on espndeportes, Canseco tested positive for taking testosterone and didn't have a prescription for it.
The report quotes the president of the Mexican league confirming the results and said Canseco admitted to it.
However, Jose took to Twitter to condemn the media and others for judging him and claiming he never took the test.
Canseco apparently had a try out with the Quintana Roo Tigers of the Mexican League. The team is apparently a AAA team in Mexican baseball.
We would think this is hilarious if it weren't for the idea that Canseco is using this as a publicity stunt. It wouldn't be the 1st time. Sure, we get that he probably doesn't have any money and is desperate to do anything he can to raise money. And yeah, we know, we are perpetuating it by reporting on what happened.
But in this case, its just so hard to look away from the Train Wreck.
