Tracey Biletnikoff, daughter of hall of fame wide receiver Oakland Raider Fred Biletnikoff, was murdered in 1999. Her then-boyfriend, Mohammed Haroon Ali, was charged and convicted of the crime.
But the Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the verdict on a technicality- saying a juror had been dismissed improperly...
So, the Biletnikoff family had to endure the proceedings another time and the verdict came down the same this time as well- 13 years after the crime was committed.
Heather Ishimaru was near the courtroom to hear from the families...
The HQ knows the Biletnikoffs have been on this quest for a long time.
Hopefully, they can now get some rest...
