Let The Dancing Begin

In the spirit of the "Dirty Dozen" which Brother Phil has cornered the market with it's time to take the concept to the NCAA Tournament. (I would refer to madness toward a certain month in the spring but OSG would have to cut a big check to CBS. Not very economically fesable.)
So let's begin with today's games (Remember, I'm not a professional, I just cover a lot of college basketball.)
East Region:
#1 Syracuse vs #16 UNC - Asheville: Fab Melo may not being playing for the Orange but I don't think a 16 beating a one will happen here.
'Cuse 95, Asheville 60
#8 Kansas State vs #9 Southern Miss: Don't you just love 8-9 match-ups. This one will be close but K-State may have just enough to get by.
K-State 70, Southern Miss 66
#5 Vanderbilt vs #12 Harvard: Insert your smart kids joke here. It is said players of both teams could write an algebra equation of the arc of a three point shot but they make them too. John Jenkins, Jeffery Taylor and Festus Ezeli can play with anyone. Don't expect a let down from the 'Dores after winning the SEC Tournament.
Vandy 68, Harvard 50 (Harvard will want a quiz bowl rematch)
#4 Wisconsin vs #13 Montana: We love the Griz and they are on a roll winning 14 straight games. It will be close but Wisconsin just may be too strong.
Wisconsin 45, Montana 42
# 7 Gonzaga vs #10 West Virginia: West Virginia Center Deniz Kilicli said Wednesday that, "I think they're physical in their conference, but we play in the Big East," Kilicli said. "I play guys like (Robert) Sacre and (Elias) Harris 16 times, 17 times you know. So I think they're not going to be as prepared as we are, but they're definitely physical and they want to play physical." We tend to agree but this may have just motivated the Zags.
Gonzaga 69, West Virginia 65
#2 Ohio State vs #15 Loyola (MD.): Ohio State will cruise.
tOSU 88, Loyola 67
South Region
#1 Kentucky vs #16 Western Kentucky: The Hilltoppers magical run abruptly stops today.
Kentucky 90, WKU 59
#8 Iowa State vs #9 Connecticut: UConn is once again in tournament mode, nobody peaks better for March than the Huskies. UConn's stay will be short this time because the Mayor, Cyclone head coach Fred Hoiberg, will have Iowa State ready.
Iowa State 67, Connecticut 50
#5 Wichita State vs #12 VCU: We loved the run the VCU Rams made last year to the NCAA National Semifinals. If Kentucky wasn't in their region Wichita State would be that team. The Shockers are really, really good.
Wichita State 74, VCU 63 (Gregg Marshall's audition for the South Carolina job continues)
#4 Indiana vs #13 New Mexico State: Good to see the Hoosiers back in the NCAA Tournament and they move on.
Indiana 63, NMSU 48
#6 UNLV vs #11 Colorado: How bad is Pac-12 basketball? Colorado is the only team left and is an 11 seed. The Mountain West received four teams and UNLV will show the Buffs which conference rules the West now.
UNLV 77, Colorado 60
#3 Baylor vs #14 South Dakota State: Here's your 14-3 upset. Nate Wolters is one of the best players you will see in the NCAA Tournament. Those of us at the OSG HQ have hopped aboard the Jackrabbit bandwagon.
South Dakota State 72, Boylor 67
West Region
#5 New Mexico vs #12 Long Beach State: The Beach can play. The 49ers have wins over Pittsburgh and Auburn and play North Carolina and Kansas tough on the road. New Mexico is fresh from winning the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The Lobos win it in a close one, might be the best game of the day.
New Mexico 62, The Beach 61
#4 Louisville vs #13 Davidson: Louisville should win this one fairly easily.
Louisville 86, Davidson 66
#6 Murray State vs #11 Colorado State: OK Racers, here's your chance to prove yourself on a national stage. Colorado State is a good match-up and Murray State should get by.
Murray State 63, Colorado 56
#3 Marquette vs #14 BYU: The Cougers are fresh off a record comeback Tuesday against Iona in the First Four round. I'm willing to bet BYU is still tired from the effort.
Marquette 72, BYU 60
So let the madness begin
