The Bloomington South High ((IN)) School girls' basketball team beat Arlington High School by a score of 107-2 last night in suburban Indianapolis. Arlington scored on free throws in the second and third quarters.
And that was it...
"(The score) is probably not what we would like to see," Chris Kaufman, a spokesman for the Indiana High School Athletic Association, told WRTV in Indianapolis.
The IHSAA does not have a mercy rule, but Commissioner Bobby Cox told 93 WIBC-FM radio in Indianapolis that the score will, likely, renew debate on the idea. Cox is going to talk to both schools about the aftermath...
