Well, that didn't take very long.
Texas Tech has filled their recently vacant head football coaching job by announcing the hire of now former Texas A&M offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. By the by, Kingsbury is also an alum...
The job became available over the weekend when Tommy Tuberville walked away from Lubbock, Texas and was surprisingly announced as the new head coach at Cincinnati.
Kingsbury became a somewhat "Hot" coaching commodity after his success in developing Heisman Trophy winner Johnny "Football" Manziel.
There are few "High Profile" jobs left, and though Tech may not have been considered a BCS contender at this point, it's a really good job for an up-and-comer such as Kingsbury.
Really the question here is: Why did Tuberville sprint away from the job?"
