Holdsclaw Pleads Guilty To Assault

Former WNBA player Chamique Holdsclaw pleaded guilty to the assault charges against her ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lacy.

She ended up pleading guilty to:

Two counts of aggravated assault
Multiple criminal damage charges and
Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime

As a result, Holdsclaw was sentenced to three years probation and a fine of $3,000.

In November of last year, Holdsclaw followed Lacy down an Atlanta street. When Lacy pulled into a parking lot, Holdsclaw began to hit Lacy's car with a baseball bat and discharged a weapon into Lacy's car- with her still in the car.

According to WXIA-TV, the conditions of her sentencing are: Holdsclaw was ordered to avoid violent contact with Lacy, complete anger management treatment and complete 120 hours of community service where she will talk to youth about depression, adversity and consequences of actions. She also has to surrender any firearms she still may have.
