We regret to inform you that one of our OSG Faves, Manny Ramirez is again unemployed.Man-Ram was released from his minor league deal with the Texas Rangers this afternoon after hitting .259, with 3 HR's and 13 RBI's for the Rangers AAA team in Round Rock, Texas.
We were cheering for Manny to make it after starting the year playing in the Taiwanese league and he quickly climbed the ladder of our favorites after he or someone playing the role of Manny re-tweeted and replied to our tweet and story about him being signed by Texas.

Rangers GM Jon Daniels released a statement saying "Based on our evaluation there was not a spot for Manny on the club at this time. We released him so he could pursue other opportunities."
We suspect the recent waiver wire deal for former White Sox OF Alex Rios sealed our hero's fate.
