Jameis Tied To 2012 Sexual Assault

((HT: ESPN))

There is either a whole lot to this or nothing to this...

But, FSU QB Jameis Winston has been tied to a 2012 sexual assault that is either ongoing or done...

If you ask Winston's attorney, Tim Jansen, he says he was told that the case was closed in February of this year by Tallahassee police. If you ask some other folks, it's an ongoing investigation...

The second circuit in the state of Florida "JUST" received an incident report until Wednesday...

The University released a standard statement:

"We are aware of a matter that was investigated by the Tallahassee Police Department almost a year ago. Because the investigation has not been closed by TPD, we cannot comment further at this time. We look forward to a speedy resolution of the issue. There is no change in Jameis Winston's status."

Here's Mark Schlabach to discuss...

The Tallahasse PD released a statement on their own:

"The Tallahassee Police Department has received several requests from local and national media for a case TPD received on December 7th, 2012, of an alleged sexual battery. The case was assigned to the Special Victims Unit. TPD is continuing its investigation and has consulted with the State Attorney as to the direction of the case. A copy of the original report is attached to this email, which has been redacted to meet the requirements of Florida Statute 119."

Now, to the theories...

The larger question is: Why does this come out now...??? And how does this come out...???

The Dan Mullen-Urban Meyer connections to the state of Florida are still there and, who would be benefiting most from the whole action and distraction...???

You tell us...
