DEVELOPING: Jim Huber Passes From Leukemia

The HQ will admit, to a man, that none of us could ever write like Jim Huber. Having been based in Atlanta, we saw him locally and we saw him in his time at CNN...

Huber was a wordsmith and we all wish that we could write like him when it came to storytelling. He's someone we all should strive to be on pad and paper, and at home as a loving husband and father.

Words cannot express the HQ's sorrow over his untimely passing and his last trip to the hospital- a place where he spent too much time with his ailing wife, Carol.

He was diagnosed with leukemia on Friday and was lost to us tonight...
Here's a story, one example, of his words...

From John Ourand and SBJ the entire statement on his passing:
"The Turner Broadcasting family suffered a great loss and we are saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend, Jim Huber. A terrific Emmy Award winning journalist and essayist, Jim made so many contributions during his more than 27 years with our company. He was a gentleman and wonderful individual and will be deeply missed. We send our condolences to his wife, Carol, and son, Matt."

As does the HQ...
