It takes guts for a franchise to put stuff like this out for the for the rest of us...
But today was the day for the post-mortem by Leafs GM Brian Burke on why his team didn't make it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 8th year in a row...
Not all of those years are his fault, mind you, he's just talking about this past season where he had to fire Ron Wilson as a head coach and bring in Randy Carlyle- who was stuck for the end of the tailspin...
But some of the local media were wanting to know why Burke hadn't followed up in the manner of the Penguins... whatever that is...
Here's Burke's response...
Burke looked rather lower-key than normal, but just as fiery.
And that's why the HQ likes Burke, but we know his time is running out...
