Let The "Fighting In Hockey" Debate Continue, USHL Game Suspended After Fight

((HT: Puck Daddy))

The HQ is just going to show you the video first of what went down in the Dubuque-Cedar Rapids game when Dylan Chanter squared off against Corey Petrash...
((HT: David Fincher II))

Fortunately, Chanter tweeted out this last night...
Wanted to let everyone know I'm awake and okay. Thank you so much for all your thoughts prayers. Nothing compares to the hockey community.

Chanter's seizure lasted for at least two minutes, according to KCRG-TV, and he remained on the ice until paramedics arrived on the scene roughly 15 minutes later.

(That's more troubling than a lot of elements in this story...)

The game was, rightfully, suspended at the point of the injury and will be made up at a later date.

But, the debate continues with the ideas of "The Code," fighting, and helmets all in play all over again with the irony being that USHL players are trying to hook up in college- where fighting doesn't exist...
