OSG High: Hall Of Famer Ladouceur Retires From De La Salle

((HT: KPIX-TV))

On the heels of Georgia legend Thomas "T" McFerrin retiring after getting a title for his Jefferson Dragons this past season, California legend Bob Ladouceur is hanging up his whistle at De La Salle High School in Concord, California.

Ladouceur retires after 34 years, a 399-25-3 record, five California state championships and 28 North Coast titles. The Spartans also finished Number 1 in the country seven times- depending on which publication you read. He also led the school to a national record 151-game winning streak from 1992 to 2003 and 20 unbeaten seasons.

Assistant Justin Alumbaugh takes over...
Ladouceur thought it was a "good time" to step down...

The school won its fourth straight CIF State Open Division Championship with a 48-28 victory against Corona Centennial on December 15th.

And, get this, De La Salle hasn’t lost to a Northern California team since 1991.

The HQ wishes Coach a restful retirement... unless you want to come back and coach...
