Fighting in the provincial high school football playoffs was what the Grande Prairie Composite High Warriors were doing these last few weeks, but for those of you that haven't followed here at HQ, the team lost four players to a drunk driver accident with a fifth still in a coma.
The team made it into the playoffs and ended its run in the Tier 1 North playoffs with a 49-0 semifinal loss to Sherwood Park’s Bev Facey Falcons
But as the HQ maintains... the game isn't always about the game...

The Edmonton Eskimos kept the Warriors in town to be the team's 13th Man for their conference semifinal in another Battle of Alberta...
