The football program at DeMatha Cathloic in Hyattsville, Maryland is in the middle of a scandal.
The Washington Post is reporting that five DeMatha football players were removed from the football team following an incident at a Durham, NC hotel.
“I’m not able to” comment, said DeMatha head coach Elijah Brooks said. “There are still kids that have to go through the disciplinary hearing. I just can’t comment.”
DeMatha principal Daniel McMahon said they school found out about the incident Tuesday in a statement released by the school.

staff, the school staff who monitored the trip, and our students.” McMahon
wrote in a statement. “The school community is saddened and hurt by the actions
of these few who do not reflect the character of the community.”
DeMatha is
