Well, we guess that he won't be riding a motorcycle again any time soon.

Arkansas head football coach Bobby Petrino was released from a hospital this morning after a Sunday accident that left him with cracked ribs, damaged vertebrae and a variety of other injuries.

Petrino was scheduled to watch Tuesday's scheduled Spring Practice for the Razorbacks and meet with the assembled local media masses later in the day.

According to several Arkansas based reporters on Twitter, Petrino is in a neckbrace and his faced was bruised and swollen. He also has said that he's lucky someone drove by and saw what happened and called for help.

We might add, Petrino admitted not wearing a helmet, something that he's lucky didn't cost him more. He apparently said he'll never not wear one again.

Bobby Petrino is a lucky man. While we aren't big fans of his, we would never wish for him to be injured worse than he was. It also sounds like he's learned a bit of a lesson, albeit the hard way.

Now, if only the accident suddenly transformed him into a coach with an actual personality....nah....never happen.
