Andy Reid Returns To Practice

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid stayed away from practice for two days after the death of his son, Garrett. He returned today to answer questions and discuss his emotions having buried his 29-year-old son after he was found unresponsive at the team's pre-season facilities at Lehigh.

Here's Reid's opening statement...

The Eagles will have a moment of silence before Thursday night's preseason game against the Pittsburgh. The Eagles will have "GR" stickers on their helmets.

The medical examiner in Philadelphia hasn't released an official cause of death, but Andy Reid did issue a statement the night before the funeral saying Garrett lost an eight-year, ongoing battle- one with prescription medication and heroin.

Andy Reid maintains that going back to work was what his son would have wanted...
