Stephen Lunney talked to OSG Sports after the inaugural game: "It was an honor to be involved in the club's first ever game. The coaches had been asking us- 'Are we a team or just a group of individuals?'- constantly since my first tryout in March. I think we proved that we are the former by battling back after going a goal down early on. As for Knoxville, they had a lot of talented players but it seemed that they needed a bit more time to gel. 4-1 was a great result but I expect the return fixture to be a lot closer."
